Thanks. I like the drama but the reunion felt a little dry to be honest.We got a perfect setup with the flashbacks…
I think it’s because they add some new plot in the drama, while the novel is pretty straightforward thus hold more depth. I don’t want to spoiled the novel much but the words that jiejie said while she’s comforting liwu on the top of the car should be said right after they reconcile. And maybe if they add some apology it’ll be better (in the novel it’s obviously liwu’s fault so this apology is not needed but in the drama i think jiejie owe liwu an apology)

I think the drama don’t describe well why jiejie did what she did.

In the novel they show how liwu’s life and mood is basically rotating around jiejie. He’s very possessive, jealousy, and has some inferiority complex (he compare his 19 yo self to jiejie’s financial at 30. And how her coworkers look so sophisticated (?), and jiejie doesn’t want their relationship to be known by her coworkers then he get anxious and angry by it)

So jiejie teach him not to be anxious. she wants them to be together to face thick and thin in their own journey. She wants his focus to be on his own life and she will accompany him. And the novel tell us the reason why jiejie fell in love with liwu. She saw her old self in liwu, her hopeless romantic side before her divorce, of course his devotion and handsomeness take part in it. (It is said that jiejie’s parents don’t want her to be with wufu and told her if she went school overseas and still love him they will acknowledge it, so after college she went overseas and come back to china, applying for wufu’s company even though she can go somewhere better. Later she married wufu yet over time his attitude changed, thus we saw in the drama). Because of her experience she want liwu to shift his focus to his growth.

I think that is what relationship should be. And i love this new point of view. Read the novel guys, jiejie in the novel is better (my preference). But I’m satisfied with this drama.

As a medical professional i’m sorry to say but that’s how you should use your crutch. You use it on your healthy side.

It keeps your weight more balanced and reduces stress on the injured leg. You suppose to step forward with the crutch and injured leg, then step with your healthy leg. Unless your doctor suggest not to put any pressure then they will give you two crutches.
