Question: I watched a behind the scenes clip on youtube for this drama with an actress doing a dance on a ring hanging from the ceiling & then another scene where she was in a blue dress with long flowing sleeves & dancing across drums. Does anyone know what episode this was? The description for the video was in Chinese & the video didn't have subtitles. Thanks

Saw some preview pictures for the next episodes. It looks like WWX's reveal is coming this week. Anyone else super happy that the donghua was released this past Saturday? I just must exercise patience till English subs come out. Checks every ten minutes... lol
Hears girly screaming, sees crazy guy with a mask running through the streets from a... dog? How could anyone run away from the cuteness that is Fairy. I just want to give it a big hug. Is the dog a real husky in the drama & does anyone remember if Fairy is a male or female? Xiao Zan did a good job acting with Fairy. What's also funny is that even though WWX is running for his life, Fairy looks like it is just taking a stroll following WWX.
Cue dramatic flip entrance of Lan Zan here to save the day. That was pretty cool. When WWX yells for his shije in front of the dog is so sad and heart wrenching.

I just saw the newest preview for the MDZS donghua season 2!!! Anyone else? I'm so excited, but I'm just getting over the feels in ChenQing Ling . I'll have to re-watch Jin Jixuan & Jang Yanli's death again & go through the Yi City Arc just in animated form vs the live drama. Guess I'll need some more glue for my poor heart.
I'm glad it looks like we'll get some episodes involving the current timeline, which I prefer over episodes that happen during the past. The preview showed lots of action for the sunshot campaign and poor WWX being driven more mad by the resentful energy.
There were also some quick scenes that I'm excited/curious about or make me feel sad. Caution I'll be mentioning spoilers based on what I saw in the preview, so read at your own risk. JGY looking at Suibian at Koi Tower. Wen Qing's death. NOOO..... Poor Wen Ning Jin Ling's parents, need I say more :( Jin Ling (at least I think it's him) hard to tell with the movement & fighting what looks like a green dragon? I don't remember that in the novel. Jeong Chang using Zidian. Awesome. Seeing the head shaker, excuse me I mean sect leader Nie Huisang. Xue Yang impersonating XXC with a creepy smile. A sexy shot of the Yiling Patriarch (gotta love the dramatic dark background & flying crows) And last of all a quick scene where LWJ catches WWX from passing out. Ahhh!!!!

Yes Su She was a guest disciple in the cloud recesses. He was the one wwx tried to save when everyone was fighting the water borne abyss in the earlier episodes & then lan zan grabbed him by the back of his collar. Su She was also the same guy who spilled the beans on how to get behind the water fall to the other disciples when the wen clan attacked the cloud recesses. Hope this answers your question.

That masked guy has to be Su She. He seriously needs to die.
It's sweet how Lan Zan admits that he was looking for WWX & felt regret for not being by his side during the endless night battle. WWX's look is heartbreaking because he seems to realize that Lan Zan really was the only one who was and will always be on his side. WWX is so good taking care of drunk LZ.

Yi City Arc, Oh my heart. This part of the novel is so sad. Can you imagine the guilt XXC must have felt when he realized that he killed Song Lan and all those other people. Such a parallel with WWX & LZ, because XXC gave up his eyes for Song Lan like WWX & his core for JC.
Xue Yang is crazy. I'm assuming when he tried to run away & Lan Zan threw his sword he got wounded pretty bad. Hard to see through all the fog, but you could hear Bichen hitting something which had to be Xue Yang. In the novel it's implied that XY died due to his injuries and from what I could see in the drama just his arm & front of his clothes got cut. Definitely not enough to die from.
A-Qing definitely has spunk. I'm not sure what to think about the actress. Has anyone been reading the manhua too. The drawing for A-Qing looks a lot younger.
Guess the Yi City Arc will conclude next week. I wonder when we'll the golden core reveal? I'm excited and sad at the same time. Thanks for reading.
Man I am getting behind on ChenQing Ling. Curse real life and bills. Anyway I've been watching the raws and then again when the episodes have English subs. It's interesting in case I miss something the first time. Anyway I'll mark my comments as a spoiler just in case. I'm assuming if any people do read my comments that they have read the novel or seen the donghua, so they are familiar with the story. I'm a spoiler sport myself and love any cheats I can find. I'd like to post my views on the other episodes if real life permits & see what other fans think. If I do it will probably be around episode 33 when WWX is back in the present time. So here's my comments for episode 37. I know I'm out of episode order but this episode is freshest in my mind. LOL
Jin Ling is such a tsundere. He may be snooty, but he does have a good heart willing to help out. It's good he was able to have an adventure with other cultivators his age.
Presenting WWX's famous corpse poisoning congee. I find it interesting that when it was served that the congee didn't look that red considering we saw WWX add a lot of red spice when making it. It was probably that way to save the actor's tongues when eating it. lol
The actor who plays Ouyang Zizhen ( I know I totally spelled that wrong) is hot. He really should be given more lines for the drama. Still glad he's there giving his support to the junior trio & WWX. Hope to see more of him in later episodes with all the corpses like in the novel.
It's so sweet how all the juniors look up to mother hen WWX. Like when he cut his finger to use the talisman they all offered up their blood too, even Jin Ling.
Wen Ning vs Song Lan? Who will win? Of course, Wen Ning people.
Xue Yang's double ended sword was pretty cool. Anyone else get Darth Maul vibes from Star Wars or was that just me?

Ok, my heart has just been stabbed and glued back together. I don't know how much more it can take. Anyway I'm glad to be getting back to the current time in episode 33. It may probably be near the end though because Lan Zhan still has to find A-Yuan to bring back to the cloud recesses. I wonder if they'll show Wei Wuxian complaining about being taken back to the cloud recesses like the donghua, but it did show him fainting at the end of episode 2 in the live action so who knows.
