Yeah the music rating for vertical dramas is tricky because most of the times the songs chosen are random (once I heard GOT7 Jay B's Dive into You in a scene, I was shocked!). I usually rate 5 out of 10 for music but if drama features songs that impress me, then I rate higher (this is the case for Cheng Cheng & Deng Ling Shu drama).

Oh I hope Lin Zi Rong doesn't get typecast as damsel in distress. What's your favourite role of hers?

I know she had collaborated a few times with Zhao Guan Yu. At first I thought he was just another pretty boy (my first drama of his is that sexy drama with Zhang Shan) but he is slowly impressing me with the roles he's played and his acting skills. Before this drama, my favourite is that boss-secretary romcom co-starring Wei Lin.

Anyway thanks for the compliment. When I joined MDL last year, I decided to write reviews but wanted a simple process. That's why I have 3
sections: like, dislike & favourite
scene. This review writing is my
way of note-taking so I avoid
watching drama on repeat unless it is intentional.

More people should watch this drama especially with Mother's Day taking place this Sunday.

Well same here. I think the lowest rating I have given is a Jdorama Coffee & Vanilla. What a frustrating watch!
I think you should write reviews whenever you feel like it. I enjoy reading your reviews and seeing polarising views help me decide on title to watch next. Ratings for vertical dramas, to me, aren't helpful because there are GOOD dramas rated below 7 and SO-SO dramas rated above 7.5!
