well this was the best acted cat food commercial I ever saw

ok so I really , really love black flags, toxic series and all that jazz, and I love Fort and Peat. I can also turn a blind eye to plot holes and just meh plot in general if it's entertaining enough. So with that in mind IMO this show was really just meh. Interesting premise, great chemistry but absolutely incoherent and just bad execution.

No, this series really underdelivered. I would really really suggest you check out some other BL series, ones of the more acclaimed ones( for a start aim for 8.5 or higher, even though there are gems rated lower, but for start) if you want to give BL a chance.

Ok , only on ep3 but this is so cute and fluffy and funny and dorky.
I am loving it so so much! Having a permanent idiot smile while watching.
This show is like a warm fluffy blankie for my heart.

I expected this to be good, but I didn't expect it to be THIS good. Amazing, only flaw is that it feels unfinished. It would really benefit from 30 more minutes or so.

o so first 2 episodes were boring to me, and I really wasn't into it. But as everyone raved about it, and by description it should be something I like to watch ( toxic, manipulation, jealousy) I persevered through these first two or so eps.

MAN, THIS IS SO GOOD!
It is serious, it is dark, no sugar coating. It shows more realistic and not romanticized dark side of toxic relations.
This is maybe the best dark show I watched. BL or no BL.
10/10 from me

I'm not a special fan, or antifan ( although I admit he looks HELLA fine).
But I notice there's an unusual amount of defamation campaigns going on against the poor guy.
The timing, amount and subjects seem too...orchestrated.

oh didn't know it...it's such a shame. I hate those hate campaigns. People really don't have anything better to do... I'm loving the show so much. But same as you I love grey characters too. Think Nan Xu Yue will be one of my faves along with Runyu, Tantai Jin and Xiang Liu .

Honestly after 28 was actually most interesting part for me...IDK what people are on about...

I mean sure I love the main couple together and all that, but poor sweet fate deserved a break too. All scheming he did also yea it isn't that black and white.
I love complex grey characters far more than simple green ones, but oh they do give me heartbreak every time...and I love it :D
Also IDK what people are on about it goes downhill after ep 28? It was probably most interesting arc for me lol

yes. They are outright plotting and deceiving each other. Show barely has any miscommunication. IT's clear as day if you pay attention.

It's Happy ending in the book, and open ending in show.

TBH for me he saved this show
