Plot: The rich CEO gets into accident in the same day as the struggling female lead, and the female lead somehow get the power to see the rich CEO as the living spirit, and helping him to find his "killer."
While the plot sounds very basic and simple, but there's something else that makes me love this drama so much. I love that every interaction of the leads are not forced by the overused trope (there are some, but it's done in the most natural way). For example, the hugging from behind had the most natural skin contact due to a valid reason. It was one of those things that are done very well without exaggeration. It also makes the interaction between the leads become more genuine.
And this drama also has the "amnesia/separation" arc that I usually dislike a lot in a drama, but in this case, it's played really well. What I love is that even without them having to retrieve their memory back, the two leads still end up loving each other because they are just attracted to each other's best and worst situation. The male lead love the female lead for her positivity on life and her smile, and even when he woke up not remembering her at first, the feelings he had for her never change. While I'm crying like a baby during their separation, but I can understand that it's something that needs to be done and it's not forced at all.
In overall, the story is very solid and good all around, and the leads also have such a good chemistry, which makes watching this drama fun.
Acting: 8/10. Very solid. Even the villain is not overdone, except in some parts. Most of the actors/actresses did their job very well and looks natural on the camera as well.
OST: 10/10. I'm replaying the song a lot. It's just that good. The way they incorporate the song in the drama also very good.
Rewatch value: 7/10. I think the rewatch value is still very high because it's got a good story and plot, and the chemistry between the leads actually make it fun to rewatch their scenes again.

That actually distresses me so much. I’ve been on here a couple of years and truthfully never saw a post telling someone to ‘k#$& himself’ on here before. I’ve been watching this story unfold as I’ve seen the actors work and that behaviour is abhorrent, regardless of any situation, so thank you for reporting abysmal behaviour, it must take some effort out of you 🙏🏾🫶🏾. I was enjoying this site because of people who loke the same types of series and movies I do so keep up the great work!
The sixth episode was so fun! This is such a good show. I am loving Gangcheol's personality and how he's equally badass and cringe. He's so funny! I also really like the FL and her random shaman skills popping off every now and again
I think this drama is underrated. Such a well-made show and I have so much fun watching it! It has everything I need and I love how action-packed it is.
You can also notice that the director is the same as the one who directed Mr. Queen (which was superb btw).
The Haunted Palace lacks on the supernatural department. The ghosts, spirits and the shaman side of the story…
The haunted palace is for an audience 15+ and I believe it comes on somewhat early at night in Korea. They won’t put full gore and scary for an audience that age and for something that shows early.
