Lol me personally, the age gap doesn't matter to me. They are both adult. She's 25 and not a teenager, so I have no problem with that.
I do see where others are coming from. The FL is used to starring in teenage/high school dramas, so a lot of people have infantilize her. And for them this feels weird. So I understand.
But at the same time, I tend not to not take the age gap complainers seriously because some people were on here complaining about Jing Tian being too young to star in a drama with feng shao feng in The Legend of Zhuohua. She is 35. Yet people were saying she was too young. 🙄
Anyways, I'm going to reserve my comment until I watch the drama. As long as the drama doesn't infantilize her or make her act like a stupid/dumb teenager, then it's fine with me. Here's to hoping I enjoy it!!!
K-netizen are seriously sick. I don't understand the harsh treatement YAI got. Like he didn't hurt anyone but himself and he seriously needs therapy instead of possible jailtime and being cancelled. Why would people force a director to take a difficult decision of re-editing his entire project just so k-netizen won't cancel him either. What enrage me even more is the fact that drug scandales are f**king huge in korean than r*p* crimes which are far worse.
I had no idea that the ending would make me rethink how I remembered the way I lived during the late 20th Century obviously in American experience. You see I remembered how the Cold War ended with my 1991 world map on my bedroom wall frozen in time. It had USA and USSR on it. No one knew how to make of it but USA was the superpower that stood alone during the 1990s. It was an amazing final decade of the 20th Century in my memories. As you know my generation had to go to Afghanistan and Iraq... plenty of caskets to count... it was really when we realized the world is not going to be same ever again. It was not fair comparison to how Korean peninsula had to endure decades worth of split nations and Cold War played a big role in proxy war between USA and USSR and rest of y'all had to hold your breath wondering if one day everything would be gone instantly in one moment of time.
Sometimes we wished things are better now but nostalgia is a very powerful thing to remind us of things we really missed in good old days. You know like being in love especially first love. You can't make it up because it is unique experience for every person. The little things that make us swoon once upon a time. I love the lovers even if it is not everlasting... For brief moment in time... it was beautiful and funny.
For her who was born in the closing days of the 20th Century, I hope that she know that it was one of the most unique times in human history.
I have a theory guys... actually this series is just made for promoting those translating ear buds and the company's owner is that 'vet guy' (as he's getting all the screen time for no reason at all)...that's why it's poor cinematography and low effort plot writing. I HOPE THIS HELPS🙂
Mew was never a good actor but I can't tell if the issue here is Uno is meant to be a closed-off character or Mew filmed the whole series while gravely constipated.
The vet and the agent are doing the most trying to make this engaging. At least when they're on screen it feels like something is happening, that there is a story somewhere in all this nothing.
