What I fail to grasp - willing blindness, I suppose - is why people are unable to see that AI is closer to post humanity where transhumanism truly begins with any complex computational integration replacing human interaction on a general public scale. Perhaps you may see it as beginning with Brain Machine Interfacing. AI bridging between computer and humans and the point is it's not a door to walk through and then we're inside. It's a complex spectrum of changes over time. We are already being replaced, not only actors but all of us.
Two of my favorite actresses. Using AI in dramas is not entertaining at all as it lacks the spirit and human facto,r if it's a drama and if there's AI in it I immediately lose interest.
FINALLY! I am so sick of seeing Chinese actors and directors being like ✨It's the future✨ because stfu no its not, it's theft and inauthentic. People who say we have to embrace generative AI or get left behind are just a part of the problem. The cons list is infinite, and the pros list is the rich get richer while the average person gets made redundant.
