maybe ML is the plot twist villain at the end as what he was in joy of life 😅

After mulling it over, I have finally realised ML is not only a wimpy stupid useless piece of tr^sh, but he also has a serious case of absolute lacking of self-awareness and perception of himself and those who surround him. He is absolutely delusional: he really thinks of himself as this benevolent kind upright human who is beloved by the people and he thinks he was the one to get to that throne (remember that epic hilarious scene when he said: I fought for the throne to do good for my people??? excuse me sir, when did you fight for the throne? FL, your mother and some people like Military Advisor put you there and you didn't lift a single finger) he thinks it's totally understandable and a lifesaving grace to Amai to be "gifted" with the position of "Imperial Honoured Consort" (a glorified concubine sir) without her input and after all the lies, deception and humillitation, and reacts with pikachu surprised face when Amai isn't happy to be a decorative toy in his cage. And how crazy it is that he dares to tell her you prefer to come to this shitty camp and drink instead of being with me at the palace??!!!? Weren't you the Chief Marshal of that "shitty" camp?? Weren't those people your beloved comrades who bled for you and the country? And what type of understanding of your alledgedly most beloved perdon do you have to not know how important those people are in FL's heart? It's no wonder the army doesn't respect you and sees you as a pathetic loser (that you are) and told Amai they would always stand by her side and support a revolt because THEY PUT YOU ON THE THRONE AND THEY CAN ALSO OVERTHROW YOU, you disgusting clown. But again, he has such lack of self awareness of his own person, his merits and the opinion people has of him, that he feels entitled to everything because everything in his life has been given to him without any effort by others. Even his most trusted lackey is a spy. I wished Amai chose to revolt cause the country being ordered around by the PM and his bunch of sycophants is going to do no good to the common people.
So sorry for such a crazy long comment, but there has been a long time since a drama pissed me off so much. To the point that if the Beimo army entered Zhenbei palace and killed the harem and the entire court of old fools and ML I would feel ecstatic.
If FL ends up with ML I WILL RIOT.

And the award for dumbest ML in Cdrama land goes toooo...Yi Zhi. Seriously, I've never wanted the FL to end up with someone else this badly. Or better yet, she'd be better off ending up alone than with him tbh.
