I always struggle to review and rate this type of drama, Because I can say ooh because they are like 5 minutes long, they aren't that well developed in the romance and plot, but I have watched this type of mini episodes dramas that are well developed. The first 10 episodes of this drama were mostly flash backs, and let's say this are hmm top 6 minutes length for each episode. So imagine the beginning credits and ending credits how long are those and add the waste of time in flashbacks oooh and they were exactly the same ones. I only stay watching for Zu Yi, I been crushing on this actor since his first drama. Zhi Xin and Zu Yi 2022 my obsessions hehehe.

I loved that part about the transmigrated girl cause it was as if they were making fun of that trope in cdramaland (girl of course was annoying like in other cdramas). It was a nice touch to show how those transmigrated girls, who are always FLs in cdramas can be actually entitled know-it-all children that normally wouldn't survive in those palaces back in the day and in this drama here said girl was not the protagonist and was eliminated by prince pretty quickly not because that fool was a spy but cause girl crossed the line with his woman. Drama got points from me here
About this show pair, I absolutely love them. Both characters are strong and smart. Even though the FL trained ML to be stronger and all I never feel she overpowers him from the episodes I have seen. Not only is he cunning enough to sometimes "defeat" her (when he drugged her and went to his brother residence after they fought) and with his position as a prince he manages to impose his decisions and act on it even she doesn't agree sometimes (for ex when he killed transmigrated girl and that minister) but also that badass FL never loses feminity (The actress picked reminds me of the pretty Xu Jia Qi both got model type of beauty) and sometimes uses her charms to get what she wants. The prince of course loves her and his intentions are clear : if he wins the throne he will make her his empress and one can see he is determinated in doing that and you understand the reason why and don't fear that both together will be able to rule and be strong enough to overcome trials. Still I love that she is realist enough to say that as a prince and maybe a futur emperor he will have to marry someone that can give him power and help stabilise his position and even though he likes her he can always have her as a concubine or what not. She doesn't mind it. She got her own agenda. Guys honestly when was the last time a proper cdrama loaded with traffic actors was as satisfying concerning OTPs ? I mean a WOMAN and a MAN working together ? You know the answer. Also for a cheap TikTok short drama we get a nice visual, nice costumes, nice hairstyles. love that
The humor in episode 1 was pretty lame for the most part, but it got much better in the second episode!!! It's still very preachy, but in the workable way (I'll take the "marriage petition" over CP's equality PSAs and whatever 609 tried to do any time of the day 😄)
The MLs are cute, naturally. I think I prefered Book's personality in Enchanté, but their dynamic (and the plot in general) is better here. And there's Fluke, as a bonus. Force is, yet again, just there. Not much of an personality for now (unless you count "sad dog" as a personality).
Plot? What plot? In my popular thai BL? Not a chance. They are mostly at office this time, because colleges aren't going as strong anymore. But don't you worry! They are still sub 35, young and attractive, at least one of them naturally rich. They do stuff, but you probably won't remember what exactly. There's a friend group, sometimes loud. Ex-something for the drama. And that's about it.
Overall, this is fairly basic. But enjoyable. Alongside Past-Senger, it's a good way to offset some more serious shows (Our Micro End and Jack O'Frost for me, plus Chains of Heart and/or Love Syndrome for those that are watching them) 💙

how she pissed him off and woke up those dormant emotions he removed, the meteor shower scene where he comforted her and when she helped him reconnect with his inner child and faced his fear 🥺🥺
This is very good for a GMMTV BL. It's very spontaneous feeling, and exuberant. The pacing isn't rushed for me, and feels quite appropriate to the context of a business that's always in turmoil like a gaming business, which is similar to other businesses in the entertainment world. Force is one of the most handsome men I've ever seen, and Book compliments him very well with his effervescent, upbeat personality. I think they're hitting the right tone with their talk about gay equality here, and that openly gay couple. I've never liked the endless chase in these BL's and like that we've moved so quickly to the relationship part. BL's should be more like this, and it helps that this isn't a university or high school BL, where juvenile, and Victorian prissiness is the norm. Even if Cher is child-like he's more mature than these characters in the high school and university BL's. I'm really enjoying this so far, and this series seems perfect for a Friday night -really light and harmless with just the right bit of wit and humor.
