In episode 3 , she already said, "you won't love me the way I love you", I think that seal the deal for FL expectations, so she knew how he was and what he was going to be.
She was just helplessly in love, thats why even after six years meeting him, she was not bitter, or vented her anger or showing her cold self. She was just ok, if not sad.
She is calm because her expectations never reached to the point of disappointment. She knew he will never respond with same warmth and passionate love she has for him, she jumped into this useless marriage, as she just wanted to be with him.
All of her decisions, sacrifices and future opportunities that she left for him, can you blame the ML for that? No matter how resentful you are towards him, it is not his fault. It was her decision, as if she had gone, he would have forgotten bout her, and that scared her, so she took every chance she could have to make him for her, knowing it would never be the case.
And I salute such people, who love other knowing that same can't be returned. It is painful you know, like a lot.
LOVING IT, Really captivating! The story is nice, the characters are so charismatic and enjoyable i’m loving them, and the main couple have a lot of chemistry, really like them together. I got to say that they got together a little too fast for me tho but i’m closing an eye because I can really feel their chemistry, they just convinced me. Also I love how Suzu doesn’t seem to really care about the fact that Issei is deaf. I don’t know but I don’t see she putting this as a super big deal as others characters in others dramas might put. Of course they have communication problems and other stuffs but I feel like they’re just being themselves and just like learning a new language, it’s normal to not know everything because she’s still learning.
Binge-watched all 8 episodes and looking forward to the next ones. Yes, the ML has his flaws but I still ship them 😍 especially during the present time when the FL has come into her own. I feel that Zhi Qian had already fallen for Liu Zheng during their marriage but never admitted it to himself.
I want to say that I want to not want to watch this but I can't look away. The glorious hot mess is back. This is more or less an unofficial continuation of Maid's Revenge. All the same players except for FL, who kind of resembles Chen Fang Tong in certain angles. Dai Gao Zheng is more devoted and slightly softer in this one. Meanwhile...
