I am still surprised by people thinking ML's reactions are not valid; bro lost his life and his brother's life and 30000 soldiers and their families due to that stunt pulled by her mom. Any sane person would go absolutely mad. On top of that, he even thought her staying with him was out of debt, and guilt made it even more serious. MLs also feel pain and are allowed to show it once, Lol. I am not blaming Yeli; she is my favorite character, but this had to happen to further develop their characters and their bond to become stronger.

Just finished watching. It's silly and visibly low budget but the acting is very decent, overall very enjoyable and heartwarming!
I'm happy to see Li Chuan playing something different than his comedic CEO full of himself.
Also very happy to see Li JiaQi.
The it's nice to see so many queer and neurodivergent-coded supporting characters, even if it's for comedy purpose, they are all very touching and it's rare enough in CDrama to be noticed.
A good palate-cleanser short drama in between stuff that require more emotional investment!
