however my fave fave FAVE scene has got to be the cheesiness of mawin’s maths problem for err having the solution of ‘you can do it’. i loved this so much.

i also LOVED how the laughter was cut in ep 2 after mawin had suggested a team name for the maths game by the pool!!!!

aside from seakeen being completely perfect, this short installation is genuinely one of the best shot series of gmmtv this year imo. truly cinematic. two of my most memorable scene directions are the one at the end of ep 1 where err was studying and mawin switched off the lights to err’s frustrations, and the final ep where they yelled at one another and then took synchronised drinks of their coffee. i felt such genuine happiness for mawin in the final episode where he chased his own dreams and made his own friends.

that kinkenta scene in tony’s warehouse where kenta was acting as a shield for kim whilst kim was shooting was an absolute masterpiece.

i loved every single second of this

plus WE GOT NORTHSONIC <3 like yes i wish we had more and they were messy too but at the very least we got them!

like hello i love discussing what needs to be cleaned up and everything that did or didn’t happen in each of the episodes and making up little scenarios that could happen, it’s all part of the fun for me!

plot and writing aside, i’ve felt much more connected and engaged with this season than the first. it might simply be due to having an already established connection to the characters but i’ve tuned in every single week and absolutely loved the chaos. it’s not perfect but i love these characters and the actors are doing a fantastic job with what thwy have been dealt.
