in my opinion, per and tar would have made for the perfect representation of pure platonic love amongst two best friends. best friends who’re so platonically in love with one another that they confused their feelings for romance because their other friends are in relationships. best friends who don’t need a relationship to be fulfilled but just one another; and completely as they are. no romance no ulterior motivates. this would highlight the importance of platonic relationships and would not undermine them when compared to romantic ones!!!!!
lukemick took this ep for me. the beach front confession scene was so beautiful, and luke did an outstanding job in his portrayal of kit’s emotions of desperation, apprehension, and relief.
i’ve been really enjoying the show but this mom storyline just pissed me off. what do you mean she abandoned…
watching his livestreams is the bare ass minimum too, is that seriously the means of redemption? also not to mention everyone around sant is telling him how to feel and lowkey guilting him into forgiveness.
i’ve been really enjoying the show but this mom storyline just pissed me off. what do you mean she abandoned her SON for a man only to shamefully reappear with debtand suddenly she is regretful and deserves forgiveness. she caused sant so much trauma and issues of abandonment but he’s ‘no better than her’ if he doesn’t console her? and has to promise to forgive her. hell no sant deserves so much better.
TBH, a normal person would have had Jay's d#$% in his mouth a long time ago, pain or not, but this is a BL, so…
sorry but are you bored? idc either way but you’re being completely irrational in these comments. we get it you like mark but hate the writing, it doesn’t make you edgy or cool. your ignorance is making you miss the entire point of the show but go off i guess. lmao i also don’t know what gave you the impression that any of that would happen between jay and sant in the initial episodes or that the plot would revolve around such?
not every show has to be some plot heavy critically acclaimed masterpiece to be enjoyable!
i mean you’re entitled to your own opinion and i completely respect that. however, i think if anything sweet tooth good dentist highlights mark’s versatility as an actor. you have to keep in mind that this is a romantic comedy which is completely unlike marks other roles, i’m personally grateful that we get to see more of his goofy side with this role and i highly doubt that it’s going to ‘taint’ his reputation and limit his opportunities as an actor. same for ohm, though we haven’t seen him in many roles, he was hand picked by mark to play the role of sant and i for one think he is doing a wonderful job. their chemistry is crazy good and it’s nice to be able to enjoy a show that isn’t plot heavy for once.
unfortunately for you, dentistry is going to be a large part of the plot as suggested by sweet tooth good DENTIST. it’s only been 2 episodes and the plot has progressed from the initial toothache and hesitancy with going to the dentist to directly addressing sant’s related trauma, chances are sant will feel much more relaxed going to the dentist and the plot will develop beyond but irrespective of this dentistry will continue to be apart of the plot.
it seems to me as though the first two episodes have effectively laid the foundations for the rest of the series and provided us with the insight needed surrounding each of their personalities.
my golden blood and sweet tooth good dentist are two entirely different shows and incomparable. i enjoy both and you can totally favour one or the other. i get if this isn’t something you enjoy but there’s so much negativity and it’s only been two episodes.
It was a good start, but the second episode is getting over the top. Just go to the dentist already, jeez! I know…
i mean the storyline of episode 2 is entirely the reason as to why he hasn’t as you say “gone to the dentist”? are we completely overlooking his trauma associated with going to the dentist?
