I feel like this drama was trying to be two different things entirely. The tone of a man unknowingly repetitively hitting a person he cares about while they're in the car and what is essentially for all intents and purposes an on-screen suicide is so at odds with what the rest of this drama was doing that I honestly really highly suspect that AI took part in the scriptwriting. That would explain the dissonance of borrowing things from certain genres without reflecting as to whether they're appropriate for a genre and an audience.

Sweet, but extremely plain. Like taffy.

The end of episode 9 was almost funny. That was SO DARK. I swear some dramas nowadays use AI in their scriptwriting. I can't quite put my finger on it, but there's sometimes such strange narrative decisions and tonal dissonance that I almost can't believe that a human was the one who wrote it.

I'm on episode 8 and I'm having to fully switch my brain off, but that's alright. It's still fun.

This was really good. I found that some climactic action in the final few episodes was a little long-winded and clumsy, but that's a small nitpick.

On ep 4, loving it so far, but dang my boy is not necessarily great at acting, huh? He can stand there and look cool, but there's just something a lil off about his expressions. This is definitely a more challenging role than other things I've seen him in, though, so props to him for taking on new challenges.

Just thinking about this drama and how it ticks literally every single one of my boxes. Sigh. I wish something could match this drama.

I think this is it. I've loved both of the leads in other projects but in this case it sort of feels like they don't have a lot of natural chemistry- and tbh, the writing isn't doing them a whole lot of favours. I just think at this point we should have had a few more scenes of them actually bonding & enjoying each other's company, but these 12 episode dramas really cut out a lot of the time we get to just schmooze with the main characters.

Ohhhh, Lovely Runner. Based on context I thought maybe OP had meant RL/irl shippers, but I guess it kind of *is* that. People are kinda crazy huh. That drama came out so long ago, who is still hung up on the couple from it

Sui Yuanqing was crafted in a lab specifically to appeal to me, I'm afraid... more than a little crazy, constantly getting captured (initially scary but in reality a total boyfailure), very fiery in loyalty and revenge, and holds a bit of a delusional candle for the MC till the very end. I'm really gonna miss him as a character, to be honest.

It feels like Sui Yuanqing has gotten captured and released/escaped so many times...
