Every time I remember that Kill Me, Heal Me and this drama were both dramas dealing with DID airing around the same time and that this wasn't the one that took off, I get so unbelievably pissed. KMHM is hot garbage. This was decent.
Rewatched this for the first time since watching this as it was coming out... mannnnn, they don't make them like this anymore! This one is peak k-drama for me. The wacky plot twists, the random horror elements, the romance where both leads actually believably love each other instead of staring at each other longingly for 15 episodes until they kiss once during the finale? Mwah, mwah, chefs kiss!
I wish there were more dramas like this, I love it so much ;-; It really has nearly everything I look for in a drama. Alas I will just have to rewatch it.
Dragged in the middle- I had to skip through episodes 24-30 or so. But definitely had a lot of good stuff at the beginning and the end! The very ending doesn't have the most satisfying payoff I've ever seen but it wraps everything up satisfactorily. There was also some funky timeline mess-ups near the end that make me feel like they were in a rush or something.
Take a shot every time two characters talking to each other in a scene take turns being in the dead center of a shot staring intensely straight into the camera from like 5 inches away
I'm so glad it's been renewed, from what I read when it first released it didn't seem like (at least according to the main actress) the prognosis was good
Just finished this, and you know what? Sometimes love is between a traumatized pretty-boy cop and a literal demon sent from hell, and I think that's beautiful.
(Also this drama really cemented for me the fact that sometimes you just have to watch a pretty lady murder some bad guys.)
They're letting my girl ACT T-T PSH has historically had such nothing roles but she's so good in this. Her styling & hair are amazing as well. I'm loving this way more than I thought I would, I hope it ends strong.
On episode 10 right now, the whole encounter with Seulgi, Beomsoo and the parents+teacher+principal... I'm gonna lose my entire shit. These assholes, oh my goddddd. I know it's supposed to be infuriating bc it's a drama, but the sense of injustice is too much T-T
Edit: Okay, caught up. This drama is so damn gay T-T these ladies GAY gay!!! I need a kiss or we riot though, for real.
