I really do mean to give this a go, as my last attempt was when it was first airing. I watched the first 5 minutes of the first episode and then wrote it off as bad. But I want to give it another chance! I just don't know if I should go straight into it? Rewatch the original first? Reread the manga first? I just don't know!
Okay, this is going to sound really strange, but I've seen this drama 2 or 3 times. I adore it. Every time I think about it, the music, the characters, the story, I get nostalgic and happy and sad and it in it's entirety is really important to me.
Sounds like another nasty betrayal to me, she's with a nice guy for 3 years to get back with her ex, just another…
You're being extremely negative and judgmental... and while I can't say I completely agree with the painfully idealistic comment by our holier than thou friend up there about what makes somebody a 'true Christian', I'm inclined to agree with the general idea of their comment.... Dude. You're being a bit of a jerk.
They're making a movie of this!? And there was an anime!? I'm so behind. I read 100~ chapters of the manga before I stopped reading it, but I remember liking it a lot...
Sung Joon AND Eric Moon!? Are you kidding me!? Egh.... too adorable. Far too adorable. Although, i can't get over the fact that in the picture for this drama, that girl looks really, REALLY photoshopped... I don't know what's up with the picture, but it's really strange looking.
Oh my goodness. After seeing Shin Sung Rok in You Who Came from the Stars, I couldn't imagine how he could play a role other than a murderous, scary dude. But then the DID. And I fell in love. I was already in love with Ji Hyun Woo, and Eunji is one of the few actresses I'm a legitimate fan of... so this cast is just too much. OTL
Compared to the other male, whom I've never heard of before, my logic is telling me that Song Jae Rim is the one that she's going to end up with... but something about this drama is telling me otherwise, and I don't like it.
I want this to come out faster! But that's just me being unreasonable. /sigh. This is seriously so funny so far, and it's fairly refreshing- I've never seen a drama about mermaids before. And Song Jae Rim is perfect in this, like he is in everything.
Jae Hee just wasn't a good character. It brought the whole thing down. If they'd made her more likable, more human, then I think I would've cared a bit more.
This dude honestly makes me so happy every time I see him. It's like a game; 'Spot that one dude who is in everything!' Not even kidding, he always manages to make an appearance when you least expect it.
The ending was PERFECT. I was dancing in my seat. I really didn't like him, and was so happy when the revenge that she promised went through! I think I liked this one more than Oldboy. I really enjoyed as well how there was a deaf character, and it wasn't the entire plot. It was a normal character with that particular trait. Although I noticed that it was a directorial move to have a lot of focus on sounds... did anybody else notice this?
SO WHY CAN I NEVER REMEMBER HOW IT ENDS!?
I hope he had a good birthday.
I actually think I've heard of The Tower before...
