Using the words "wife" or "wifey" is heteronormative. It's like we shy away from the fact that BL is a relationship between two MEN, and still fit them into the generally accepted relationship: men and women. The other side of BL community want to change for the better, amidst the accusations from the gay community that we are just "fetishizhing" gay relationships, we've learned to behave more respectfully such as stopping the usage of "wife/wifey" and most especially the "top and bottom" argument.

i was the same at first. but as the plot thickens, the door stories get interesting. tbh the door stories in the drama were fleshed out better than in the novel (like they gave it more impact, imo). you also wouldn't want to miss how the characters' relationship get deeper and even the side characters will show some depth you can't help but find them lovely too. at least they make the series worth watching if you really don't want the doors plot.

when xzg mentions his character he just says "NPC" censorship sucks he probably wants to about this drama so bad as it seems to be a passion project for him 😭

so it was really noticeable that guang was especially happy during the filming period, he even wanted to extend the crew for another 100 days lol. now we know why

omg it's really nice knowing this. reading global examination will hit harder now knowing that guang has read the same thing too. he should recommend us his other faves so we can read it too 😆💙

it's called "global examination". actually the only similarities are the survival games and slow burn romance

this poster is so pretty, i must say. in bl world im used to ugly posters but this is the second time a poster made me feel things. first was a breeze of love's poster.

i miss ruan and quishi. i can't let go of these characters. it's not enough that after watching the drama, reading the novel, watching 10000 edits everyday, i found another danmei with kinda similar plot and i still see nanzhu and quishi faces in some scenes.

it's not like they can escape it tho? the door comes for them whether they like it or not. if you're a newbie, you'll be sucked into the door without even knowing. if you're an experienced who simply decided to deny the door, i guess you'll just die like how you were supposed to before the doors came into the picture.
