This episode had really sweet Ning er and ZZ moments but it also showed how incompatible they are. 1) every time…
dude.. she was his queen, someone he thoroughly respected.. you guys are really trying hard to find needle in a haystack to pull down this character just so you can get some vicarious twisted joy..

ZZ is not some extrovert flirt, which btw your FL is. the fact that FL loves him is because she finds him too good for her. ZZ has no onus on him to behave one way or the other. He loves, respects the queen. In 1st lfie also, he is the only one who helped without asking for something in return. That is a super powerful and difficult thing to do, that's why he is special.
Also, did anyone notice the awkward silence when Ning er protected ZZ but XW was actually aiming at the bad guy…
XW confirmed right.. in his conversation with DF.. he had actually given DF an order to kill ZZ on the journey..but now he can't kill zz because of how JXN confronted him
now that I'm all caught up, I just want to leave a few comments in regards to Zhang Zhe; I fully understand JXN…
Well we know that not only XW's wife, but XW's son also thinks ZZ is the most perfect man in the world :P .. so not sure if XW will ever think of ZZ as friend .. on same side sure, but better be a court acquaintance only.. no house guesting :P
I think she’s indulging herself in this “one sided love” feeling, which was the feeling she has toward him…
don't think that's what happened.. maybe a bit.. but mostly her guilt came back after ZZ talked about what he wants - service his mom, get married, and watch rain.. and she thinks she killed zz's mom last time
Turn out it’s not XW fighting for his Ning’Er, but XW fighting for Ning’Er to be loved correctly by ZZ 🤦♀️…

zz ship started sinking in ep 24.. after he told FL his dream of serving family, mom, getting married and watching rain.. she didn't register that watching rain and married meant her.. she just realized his love for his mom and how his mom died in last life.. her guilt is back in full intensity

"You can be loyal, noble.. but in love you have to give all of your heart 2. we can't be on same side, we have different intentions; and if we had same intentions then that's worse (ahem.. clearly means different intentions is for goal but same intentions means being in love with the same woman)

He can't directly kill ZZ with so many people around.. he had to paint the picture that zz got killed by rebels.. so no he was not aiming for zz
