Now, if he lost his memory and got stuck in the past then the compass is with him.. and never goes back to JL.. so a timeloop is not possible because in next loop, how will ML go back in time again without the compass that he has but doesn't rememebr

r u saying his 5th ribulation they always go back 30K years? but once they die, they have to come back and life continues onto 6th tribulation.. so timeloop doesn't make sense

now that they had shown falling in love, they could not repeat falling in love so many times and hence smaller arcs every other time

2. Fall in love (ML does)
3. Fall in love (mutual acknowledgement)
4. grow in love, understand that when time comes to sacrifice they will have to
5. Truth exposed
6. Make out while finding solution to take down evil (but making out requires less prying eyes hence this setup)
7. Back in heave, take down evil and complete marriage
