i think at some point Pear has to like or bare minimum kawi misinterprets her kiss on his cheek.. goes to future, finds Pear is very much in his life - close buddy or romantic interest.. but Pisaeng is gone..

journey matters.. no matter the ending.. until ep 14 , it has been a strong edge of the chair thriller.. nobody on any platform has confidently come up with a theory even by end of ep 14

remember ML said his grandfather had AMNESIA and could not recognize his own grandson :)
So if grandpa had amnesia, then whoever was coming in and out occassionally and pretending to be ML's father ... can be an interesting angle for the writers :)
