I think drama's subtle way of telling both from ring, shoes, encounters is that this was a fated r/shp.. and i don't think either has been in a real relationship (pretty sure both are virgins)

I think one arc that would be there is HJ asking DS to be a pretend boyfriend because her friends think DS is pursuing HJ.. they won't let that scene just be (i mean they can.. it is complete in a way as it made DS look like trophy material to HJ.. still)

but he used to live with his grandfather.. why would parents abandon him.. i'd think some close friend
