It is clear that he values true understanding and strong trust. if you go through his dialogues again you will realize he thinks women are attracted to his good looks and his body.. but no one looks beyond.. and he also sees through that hypocrisy (he is very perceptive and good at reading people, what they want, how to play that pull and push or get people to agree with what you want.. all of that needs a very high EQ)...
and then when he told Nabi love at first sight.. it was partly him wooing her.. but partly the truth that he realized very early on he feels differently about Nabi (but won't be clingy.. like with his mother.. he doesn't go to her, mom needs to come to him and be a mom)

And, that is what DH is to her... he used to be her best friend, don't forget that.. but he hasn't seen her through these years so it was easier to open upto him Vs say bitna or someone else.. (also, if she doesn't have best friend .. that is very telling of problems with her.. and then again reinforces that she is just making use of this opportunity with DH as distraction)

Why JE is the right partner 1. partners are great if they can support each other in areas they need most.. Nabi cannot handle emotional burdens (she is aloof and in personal relationships e.g. with her friends, in her r/shp with men.. its all going on in the inside) .. so she truly needs someone who can read her
2. Preview - her career is important but she isn't exactly exceling it.. DH's praises are empty, like parents would do.. no real advice but positive attitude towards her talent... The one who can really guide her, help her is JE.. this is a very very powerful support that she needs
3. Drama is not following managa anymore. They are using the dialogue but put in entirely different context... at this point given what all JE has done for her (that's his own character development about finding his right girl) .. it does not make sense for Nabi to go with DH just because he is normal nice and crushed on her.. he also needs to move on and not dwell on a girl who probably has her own type
4. how passive Nabi is.. she needs someone who can make her life exciting..balance it out..
I really liked what Sol said, "Does not say it because they think it is too obvious to state" .. everyone else can state how JE is very different, he knows he is drastically different with Nabi.. same as her, he didn't know that she didn't realize his 'love" ...
