this drama managed to maintain interest until the very end... SO RARE.. and after such a long time!!! Don't even remember when that happened last.. usually even good ones start tapering off by ep 10

My take is that Dan is needed in this arc.

Initially, LJ fell for BJ so Dan never really had a true chance. NOW, both LJ and Dan will know that Dan NEVER HAD ANY CHANCE.

And again, LJ does deserve to live a sincere pursuit that is not mired by secrecy or psychological games... but a really desparately in love BJ pursuing LJ as if his life depends on it..

LJ is still insecure - based on car conversations and conv. with jet earlier and he keeps feeling he isn't important for BJ to prioritize him over his favours or that he is BJ's dream ... NOW HE WILL KNOW.. BJ's dream truly is LJ


This is going to be so delicious. In the book, this arc was easy. NOw, with Dan and with angry parents.. there will be more depth to it
