Kokoy has the cocky personality that is perfect for his part. Elijah is a great actor, watch some of his other films, watch his interviews, he loves the craft.

This is really good if youre into certain types of movies, ie darker stuff. Its definitely not for people that like cute/BL. Personally I love cute/BL, AND darker stuff, but if darker isn't your thing don't watch it.

Later in the film it strays into a f'd up storylines I associate with films like audition/oldboy, but without crossing a line into being totally f'd up likes those films do. Maybe not a masterpiece but definitely good and worth a watch if you like a bit of darker storyline.

I know some people didn't want them to get back together, and I didn't believe one episode could get them back…
Also that scene where they see each other for the first time in year, or so. OMG

They made me believe they should be back together again, and that's saying something.I cried for Bas though.
Yeah didnt think they'd be able to do that in the space of one episode. but they did.

Title I Promised You the Moon Spoiler
I know some people didn't want them to get back together, and I didn't believe one episode could get them back together in a way I was happy with, but it delivered. The real truth of relationships isnt a promise to stay by each others side and forever love, reality is sometimes you can be in a long term relationship and develop feelings for someone else, or get things wrong. The initial promise to never leave side etc of season 1, is all very romantic, and I loved it in season 1, but promise to work through any problems together, and talk to each other, that's a real commitment to making a relationship work, and I loved it.

It's a progression from love (season 1) to making a relationship work (season 2), and totally fitting with the whole theme of season 2. So much more grown up than your average BL.

I can totally understand the bbomb being overly jealous comments, seriously, trust your bf a bit more, but you have to admit Mark was totally giving an I'm going to take your boyfriend look at bbomb. Not excusing the behaviour though.

My first BL holds a special place in my heart, I've watched some better than my first love, but nothing comes close to replacing its place in my heart, except this.

Theres been a bit of a rejection of them in the pro democracy movement (read the controversy bit), so maybe that will happen with the university uniformsx sometime, although probably not soon enough.

OK I was wrong and Im only half way thorough. It keeps playing on some expectations based on some other BL dramas. I really like it when it does this.

Hmm. I absolutely hated the first episode, far too slapstick comedy for my tastes. I almost gave up, some reviews convinced me to continue. Having watched most of it, its still a bit too slapstick comedy for my tastes, it gets better than the first episode and some genuinely nice moments, and Oat does grow a bit as a person (which is always nice to see someone do that because of the one most precious to them) and as for the comedy still not my taste, but almost worth watching it for that completely different take on the slip, fall, look into eyes gag in episode 10. Could totally do with out some of the mother/son comparisons in the relationships.

Not everyones cup of tea, but worth watching past the first episode (especially) or a few others to see if you like it.

Title The Effect Spoiler
A few post below are about the ending and different theories. So here's my thoughts.

When he says it's my fault for not explaining properly I think he's talking about where he told Keng at the gates he didn't want to see him ever again, he didn't explain just really how much he meant it. So Shin stepped out and killed himself.

a) Some suggested it was a memory, Keng is in a blue shirt, when was he ever not in a white shirt.
b) Some have suggested they weren't in the same place, as Shin doesnt react, he does, watch his body not his face. He freezes. If look at the reflection in the windows behind Keng (although this isnt clear even if it was/wasnt taken across the road as filming means different locations may/may not be used if in that kind of shot)
c) Neither looks both ways.
d) The car sound effect happens after Shin steps out.
