This is so true. I'm on the verge of dropping this too. Yang Zi's character is really cringey. I'm on my 3rd episode and I feel like not continuing this anymore. It's just that I'm curious on how this one got a high rating.
One of the reviews said Wen Ning's character here is far different from the series and I cannot agree less. And I find the whole movie full of discrepancies and a bit predictable as well.
I always stumble upon this drama, I've read good and bad reviews, but I'm still undecided on whether to watch this or not. I remember watching Eternal Love years back and I loved it. I'm just not into their (ML and FL) romance, it's not bad but it isn't getting much of my attention either, I only saw them as just that in Eternal Love, an extra story. But now being the main ones, I don't know if I can expect the same greatness from this one just as how I saw it from the Eternal Love. Ugh, I'm so uncertain about this series.
The relationship between the brothers is wow. I love how they showed their love for each other. I was just expecting this to show the details of how Huaisang did his great revenge but nevertheless, a good one.

Is it really an over-rated series or am I commenting too early? I think the thing that people liked in this movie is that despite not being a BL, they still ship the two romantically. Is it because I'm not into BL and only sees their friendship that's why I'm not into it? I'll still try to watch this to see what is all the fuss about lol. I've watched a lot of Chinese drama and even ones without romance in it, they're still better than this one, already on my 15th but can't get my full attention yet. I hope I can love this drama similar to other viewers.

It was okay. I'm rooting for the second leading man here tho since the story of Kairi and him ending up with her, it didn't make sense, like Kairi is actually in love with another woman but still love the main lead? Like what?
At first, I really did enjoy this despite the negative reviews. But yeah, I also think the latter half failed to continue its great story, a lot of things went downhill with things getting complicated, like it already didn't make sense.. as if they tried to just stack the scenes anywhere. Still, Ethan's acting is really commendable here. Worth a try maybe? But will not watch again.

I skipped several parts tho, I just really hate the manipulative lead here that I skipped her whole wedding scene lol.
One of the fun scenes here is with Yun Zhe's mom. In first few episodes, you'd get the feeling that you'd hate this woman but no, she got really good role to play here. She's like one the sources of fun in this whole drama. A real good drama. Notably, the scenes with our little Le Tong are worth watching! Despite being a rookie, you couldn't tell, really!! Her cuteness aside, comparing Le Tong with other child actors, she really got potential. She doesn't look to the camera, not stuttering. Just an amazing kid!
Worth watching? Definitely. I totally felt the emotions here.
