honestly.. the teasers/trailers looked better than ep1 turned out to be. maybe its just cause we’re still early on in the show but some of it just didn’t add up.

i mean, por just gets straight up impaled with a tree branch he accidentally ran into?? unless i’m missing something and he got pushed, which is more suitable..
i feel it’ll get better once barcode is introduced, but its not too bad.

also, kinda annoying seeing people complaining about there being blood & murder in a bl as if its main genre isn’t meant to be thriller/slasher lmao

its disappointing how predictable this show is, guessing the roles of almost every character before the first night even ended made it entirely disinteresting— but despite that, it’s still enjoyable nonetheless; i never get bored watching because theres always something going on

to be honest though, the only characters i really like are kyungjun and dabeom, the rest of them were really flat and underdeveloped, yoonseo was exceedingly underwhelming too.
constantly investigating on her own without telling anybody just makes her more suspicious, then 90% of the time their leads are just random claims thrown out by her/junhee, and everybody just immediately agrees?? the smartest characters being the mafia should really say something. i’m wondering how episode 12 is going to play out seeing that theres still a lot to explain

is that all you can pick up on? he never ‘went and hit on her’, he acted to her how he did every other character. being a nice person = flirting apparently. ‘im not reading all of that’ is js admitting i made valid points you cant disagree with lol

in what way whatsoever was he creepy at all..? regarding his crush on hana, which i assume you mean, that wasn’t creepy at all— if mun did the same you’d be praising him and calling him cute. he got jealous a few times, thats it. and he was trying so hard because his father was depending on him to get a girlfriend/wife soon.
if you looked into interviews, which clearly you didn’t, you’d realise the whole point of his character was to bring the comedy element back into the show— not to be strong or provide to the other counters all too much. his power is to guide the counters to the evil spirits because the territory no longer was sufficient in letting them do that safely anymore. other than that, he was never once given the expectation on being powerful.
he was ‘dumb’ because of his home-life, he never went to collage because he was expected to carry on running his fathers farm until he got a ‘job’ as a counter— where he quite literally tried to quit because he felt he was letting everybody down. episode 4 was mostly about how the counters wanted to convince him he was worthy and that they couldn’t do it without him; makes sense because he was the one who came up with the idea to disable gelly’s eyesight (which was how they managed to summon her) and stop using the territory against juseok and pilgwang. clearly you didn’t pay attention to that, either.

‘we want hana and mu-’ shut up you’re weird, acting as if the drama was ever meant to be romance in the first place... y’all will complain so much about how you need hana’s backstory until it involves romance between her and somebody else. & dont get me started on people trying to justify their weird age gap.. regardless of their ages in s2, the thing that makes it weird is their ages when they initially met. why would hana see mun in that way when they met at 17 & 20… the fact she looks at him and smiles a couple times, or tries to look after him when he’s sick means absolutely nothing considering she’s done the same towards every single character. ‘but hana lets mun touch her!!’ because he’s already read her memories? y’all forgetting the whole reason she doesn’t want people touching her.. anyway dohwi is a cutiepie and yall needa learn how to stfu sometimes lol

+ jeokbong haters need a reality check, ofc he isn’t gonna be perfect or around mun’s level of power when he’s literally a single month into working as a counter. that was the whole point of episode 4. stan jeokbong for clear skin!

i dont think the ‘show no fear’ part is entirely true… i mean it was very clear gwinam was terrified during his death scene, yet he still became immune

literally one of the most diverse and talented actors i’ve seen it’s insane!!
i’m so happy he’s finally getting the main roles he deserves from mid 2023-2024, & despite his small roles he was always a fav in so many dramas i watched casting him
