The drama had potential and I was really excited seeing the first few episodes. It somehow felt slow yet fast at the same time. The characters unfortunately could not shine. It felt like there wasn't enough time for the audience to fully understand and enjoy what the writer wanted to convey. The relationships felt shallow except for Je Yeon and Tae Rin. I also expected a more touching ending given how we've been made to pity Hae since the beginning. What really threw me off was how despite having "people close to him" he ends up going to the trial with his dad? The one person who wasn't there for him since the beginning? It felt SO FORCED. I honestly enjoyed the second couple way more than the lead couple. Would've loved to see more of them in the finale. Overall, It's an okay watch. Not something worth recommending imo.
Saw a spoiler on Instagram and thought Woh Jin A was a ghost. Gave it a try for my Man KYUNGSOO and IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT. it is a beautiful movie and definitely worth a watch!
Can someone please tell me why Yifan stares at the clock while sleepwalking? I came across a reel explaining it but I skipped it thinking it would have a spoiler and now that I finished it I do not know yet!
I really like this drama, and tbh the main draw for me is JCW. I think he portrayed NJW very well, a character that could have otherwise come off as tacky. And as someone who loves a good rom-com, this is right up my alley.
I really like how Sanha shows concern for his stepsister in this version. It adds more depth to his character. It feels like his empathy stems from how scarred he felt from his mothers actions towards him and now, he doesn’t want his stepsister to suffer the same pain.
Also, Can we have Lee Joon-Gi and Park BoGum play the adult versions of SanHa and HaeJun in the future?? their resemblance to InYeop and HyeonSeong is uncanny.
Since this is an adaptation of Go Ahead, it’s impossible not to go into it with some bias. Go Ahead is one of the few C-dramas I’ve ever rewatched—it’s just that good. So, watching this version feels like a bit of a letdown. I get that Go Ahead had 40 episodes and this one only has 16, so it’s a lot more fast-paced, but it’s missing the charm of the original.
Starting with Juwon, she doesn’t have that tomboy, carefree vibe that made Jian Jian so loveable. The way she loved both her brothers equally, without favoritism, and her role as the playful "maknae" isn’t coming through at all. And Sanha… it feels like the PD is playing favorites with him.
As for Haejun—ugh. Zi Qiu was my favorite in Go Ahead, and they really messed him up here. Him being happy about his dad showing up? That’s just not like his character. And him wanting Sanha to be good to his mom? Way to ruin his entire arc.
I’m not saying this is a bad drama, but as an adaptation, it really doesn’t do the original justice.
Only have a question about the development of the FL character (not the actress). Loved how in the first episode,…
Having watched the Chinese version, it's mostly because she is the younger one at home and treated like a child. Her character will mostly change drastically post leap.
Just watched it for the second lead couple. No one shined through the screen as much as Yoon Park. The lead couple were too stiff with their expressions. Would love to see Yoon Park as a lead now!
Although I liked the drama I will never get over the fact that Initially, HyunWoo was happy when he heard of Hae In's diagnosis. Yes, he might have redeemed himself in the end but that's the woman you loved? How could you be happy that she is dying??
Since I watched Not Others and could draw many similarities, the ending didn't disappoint me. Rather it felt apt to how the plot progressed. I liked how it focused on the mother finding her own identity apart from her role as a mother and ex-wife. So her continuing to focus on herself in the end yet ensuring the family stays together( through the weekly meals) suited her character.
Meanwhile, I did expect a better plot development between the daughter and father's relationship somehow, it was a letdown.
I just had to drop by and praise Park Bogum's phenomenal portrayal of Tae-Ju – he totally steals the show! That being said, I feel the movie falls short in properly depicting each of the stories.

I watched it because it starred Oh Sehun.. but dropped it after they revealed she was his brothers girlfriend in the past.. was boring and was honestly tired of Song Hye Kyo acting similar roles ( in the drama with Park Bo Gum she had a similar vibe). In one word TRAUMATIC
