On Would You Like a Cup of Coffee? Nov 25, 2021
if the previous ep was a hit to the gut, this one was a knockout 💀 ah come on - this just ep 10, we still got 6 more to go, why oh why this needless drama, wasn't floating in a calm, serene space good ?!? guess it won't be a K-drama if u don't cry 🙈

the reason Park Seok sent Go Bi away is cause he knows how territorial and overprotective he is of that coffee shop. here if he thinks people aint treating the place or the coffee with respect, he get's confrontational. what would he do when that landlord came in acting like a mega-douche bulldozed just wanting to get rid of Café 2Dae and Park Seok?!? he would go ballistic. so Seok did what any caring parent/mentor would do, he found his mentees a new place to work, as he couldn't solve the problem.

of course Go Bi is heartbroken cause he feels that he was really a burden, that just took and never gave anything back to that coffee shop or Seok, that's why he lost his will to fight. this so freakin sad - hope Seok finds a way to keep his coffee shop in the same place. (having said that, and even though yeah totally get the lose in being "thrown out" - but he got money and can open a similar place somewhere else, no?!? now that he got "rid" of Go Bi - he not going into retirement, right?!? hmmm idk seems much ado about nothing🤷‍♀️).

cute and all, but this could've been soooo much more. this plot was tepid at best - the high's weren't that high, no low's other then (me) wanting this plot to actually be more...
but it is what it is, so cute (but having watched Kang Han Na in My Roommate Is a Gumiho, i was expecting so much more). so a bit of a let down. oh well

i am gonna be the odd one out - this was bad - the ending was bad! Nao is a spoilt brat, that didn't mature or evolve even a bit throughout this drama, from start to finish she was an immature self-centered child that everyone catered too (at the start it was sweet and cute, as she was sick so she might as well have existed in a time-capsule. but it lost it's charm, cause any character needs to mature and evolve). and Hiroto had to keep running after her figuratively and literally - like come on, that gets old and tiresome sooner rather then later - she didn't deserve a happily ever after and it's for sure not gonna be a bed of roses ending up with a partner like her. i pity Hiroto, who had a tough life from when he was a teen, and sadly it's just gonna get harder with a person like Nao, as his other half. cause she needs constant babying - not fun!

the one that lucked out and dodged a bullet was Saito, who almost married this woman-child and would have to sufferer the consequences throughout his life. this was a cute story until the 9th ep - there is went down hill and Nao didn't do a thing (in my eyes) to redeem herself let alone show that she worthy of Hiroto, or his love. if anything this last 10th ep went to show how much of a spoilt unworthy princess she still is -

oh well fine for a one off and not sorry i watched, cause enjoyed Hiroto his close friends and even his sweetheart of a brother, Ren. they made this drama for me.

all in all cute and the fact this short - miniscule doesn't bother me, rather it be short and to the point then a hot mess and long. this was far from perfect as is. so i'm fine with the length ✌

side note - Chap gorgeous and i hope to see more of him. Green didn't grow on me, sorry - but good luck to him all the same.

yup fast-forwarded the whole last ep, it was a pile of steaming 💩 total disappointment, that ironically as much as i was looking forward to this drama - i wished i had never watched it. cause this has left me fuming - crappy ending to a sub-par plot.
who comes up with these ridiculous plots? oh plz what an utter waste of time - just cause "people" be eating up BL's doesn't mean all we care about is great looking guys with buff bodies, flirting, innuendo's and kisses.. the plot needs to make sense, let alone hold water - this was just bad, with little to no logic used in how it developed - so freakin disappointed 😣🖐

1st off, read a comment that said, the reason a lot r disliking this, cause there a lack of PDA - as someone who has seen a ton of BL's - i beg to differ. there some awesome BL's out there - that literally have No PDA and even at the end of the drama, there a hint of a kiss and i have been engrossed, entertained, loving and rooting for the couple from the 1st sec of the 1st ep till the finale. cause the plot was good, the directing phenomenal, same with the acting. i don't need anyone to "suck face" or get handzee with each other - seen a ton of bad BL's with embarrassing kissing and almost forced sex scenes and other then shudder and look away, i didn't enjoy it a bit - it for sure didn't add to the drama.

here - What was this?!? other then a really long food commercial?!? cause that's the only thing that "shined" - the food.

agree with anyone saying this a total disappointment - this could've been so much better, but i guess at the pre-production party someone got out the funny pills and spiked the punch, this is the consequence. sad as it had potential and some decent actors (and talking side character's here, sorry the mains idk what their damage is, but this wasn't impressive in the least).

the director who is also the screenwriting(?) is a dictator(?) that no one could correct or question? (idk what is going on there, cause when this was airing i saw that the writer was Sammon, but now her name has been taken out as screenwriter, and only left as writer of the manga) anyway glad this over, cause other then just come to point out the plot-holes, i did little else.. so the plus point here is The End

remembering Mood Indigo i know u r right - that Kajima did have/develop feelings for Kido. and yet cause of who Kido is (or how he played him dirty) i was ready to disagree with ur comment lol - so u might be right ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

thank u for this - how i forget their age difference, and i guess maturity plays a factor here - so of course.... so glad u pointed out something that for whatever reason just went over my head

Title Love Is Science? Spoiler
i knew this wasn't pure BL and yet the main couple were tedious - they had some moments but the back and forth was really draining to watch. especially when the FL is supposed to be the mature adult in that relationship, and it wasn't that the ML was better - his passiveness was annoying.

heck there were a ton of character's that just rubbed me the wrong way, and i know i'm a minority but for me Joanna was the worst of the bunch. i didn't like her personality and she didn't endear herself to me any better, when she kept treating Mark like he the "special needs" kid she loved to ridicule - heck she kept bullying him and that was supposed to be cute or funny?
she a grown ass woman, that doesn't want a serious relationship - but is just looking to "hook-up" and yet hasn't heard of contraception? from the start of this drama, she hopping from one guy to the next, she get's pregnant and conveniently it's Mark's?!? plz, if i was him i would demanded a paternity test ASAP. she was a 3rd wheel, u just couldn't shake her off - as is Mark and Ou Wen had almost no screen time, and when they finally got together we had her glued to them 24-7, tossing sarcastic remakes at Mark. so nah i don't like her and she really could disappear AFAIC
but this couple by far was the best of the best - seen a load of BL's and i think they were the healthies, most organic couple to come together. the build-up let alone the growth was exhilarating and satisfaction to watch - and they had like 5 min's throughout this mess - but they shined!

the older couple had their moments, as didn't like Nai Hui condescending attitude towards Wu at the start, but the sec she decided "he was the guy for her", her turn around and trying to assimilate in his life and village, was endearing and heartwarming to watch. so even though they also a miniscule story in the otherwise main draggy plot, they stood-out (like Mark and Ou Wen) but i will Not be rewatching this... may rewatch clips of Mark and Ou Wen scenes on the tube (❁´◡`❁) but that's about it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Thank You🙂 but obviously after watching i got what's what lol -
i guess what i meant in my initial comment was that the description is miss leading. as i was looking forward to know what happened to her after the people she was handling (i.e Ji Hyuk and her bf got murdered) and how she got into her new position. writing this now, i guess it wouldn't be that interesting - but as far as i'm concerned her part in this mini drama wasn't that important either 🤷‍♀️ the MVP was Chun Woo IMHO

i think she still kicking, as we only saw a hospital bed empty! :)
yeah i thought it was a trap to get Ji Hyuk. but after a while there would be no point to her still hiding.
either way she wasn't a character that i liked, so one way or the other (like in this short drama) she was anticlimactic

On Inspector Koo Oct 31, 2021
the ending was the most interesting moment throughout this ep - read comments and everyone enjoying this. idk but this didn't make me laugh - or rather i didn't find this or Koo funny(just the scene in the church). plus she totally disgusting, all through this the only thing i REALLY wanted to see, was her stepping into a shower and lathering up!!

and "sorry" but being an investigator for an insurance company aint doing the lords work - they as crooked as they come.
so as far as i'm concerned, if an average person finds a way to "rob" and insurance company, good on them - cause insurance companies treat their clients like garbage and there a ton of sad, depressing infuriating stories about how in time of need, people have to beg and plead for money owed - that they've been paying insurance for decades - so i personally didn't like her investigating methods, or how she was using people.
even that mute dude, that is supposed to be her driver - but was turned into a slave... was hyped for this and now am disappointed - donno if i will even give the next ep a try - oh well win some lose some

Title Moebius: The Veil Spoiler
well this was depressing , especially when u know how Chun Woo "ends", that's just sad and i seriously don't get his telling Ji Hyuk that he owed her (in The Veil), what he owe her? she used him - heck she admitted to using him, so she could get a promotion and get back in the good-graces of the NIS.
so i guess he means that she finally voiced the truth, that he knew? that no matter what he did, he would never be welcomed back in the NIS? what choice did that leave him. what was the point of all the crying and going on about dark places, worth?!? what other option was open to him? like talk redundant

idk why this Soo Yeon's "story" or why the description had to mention China (confusing me into thinking it was the mission from the Veil) also why she have the hair-cut she had when Ji Hyuk came back? while here she hasn't even started a relationship with Kyung Seok, and he already off with Ji Hyuk to china 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️ he for sure wouldn't know about a mission a yr in advance - for her to grow out her hair and open up to a subordinate, let alone get into an intimate relationship with him...
The Veil was really really well written - this isn't and i'm confused and a bit disappointed 😫

this should've been Jang Chun Woo's story / explanation, as to why he went dark. cause he was interesting and seeing his friendship with Goo Pyung was bitter sweet - heartwarming and breaking all in one. so just cause of that moment, i don't regret watching this. but this more a miss then a hit

Title Second Chance Spoiler
binged watched this and what can i say other then "the end" - this wasn't good - the look's weren't to my taste, but could overlook that for great acting - which was mediocre at best, same with almost everything else - but guessing most were new at the game, so took that into consideration and yet the plot was all over the place, and the clichés 🤦‍♀️ like a MOFO, everywhere - unforgiveable ones that were then just wrapped up, cause it's the end as we need every couple to end up together - reconcile and walk off into the sunset. could do without that trope.

the only genuine moment was Arthur's confession that he had no one - that was sad and eye opening, but not shocking as usually bullies r bullied - vicious circle 🤷‍♀️ so that moment where he broke down let alone his friends hugging him, was heartwarming. yeah the mains at the end were also cute - but kinda liked the end-end - as we started with Sky alone in the pool - and at the end Paper join's him - symbolic to Sky's life and their romance - still cute at best, and yet this a one off

side note: Chris freakin used tongue - that blindsided me - heck it embarrassed Jeno enough to break out in laughter, that reaction was genuine - think even he didn't except that - Mawin the man lol. compared to that, the kiss at the end was childsplay 🙈...
