i feel like Fu is punishing Tan cause he not acting more grateful and "happy go lucky" to be back on the national team. find it ironic considering how they kicked him out, u would think its logical that he isn't elated or thankful to anyone on the national team's management - Why should he be? he has played and worked his ass of for 2 yrs proving himself and that's why he got a chance to come back.
same with his working his ass off and training like a mad man, all hrs of the day - his scores r proof that he is working his ass off (heck he scored higher then Ke Nan, and yet he falls short?!? call B.S.) and he is still being treated like he's not good enough - this is just frustrating...

ur comment made me wanna see this and after 1 ep can safely say - this is funny.. or maybe my humor is broken ¯\_('◡')_/¯ either way this was fun

not only u and not only C-dramas. i come from K-drama's and i'm tired of the same old clichés with the girl / guy playing hard to get - even though they all in.. running after the girl/guy and any other trope u can think off... been there seen that and that's why moved on to BL..
like u, didn't think there would be more then some hints to kinship (what with the censorship in china), but the romance is just a turn off - and i for one tend to just ff the scenes with the girls - cause of the romance B.S the only one i really enjoy seeing is Liu Shi - he for a while now is the main character i'm rooting for, and come back to see more off - and there nothing romantic going on with the dude - and yet one hell of a character.

guess i'm the only one that is disappointed(!) that this has turned into a "normal" romance drama - i for one just ff all the scenes with the females. Cai Wei is annoying, she got a love letter (yeah it wasn't meant for her or written by Ke Nan, but that's beside the point) why she still need a declaration of love?!? - if anything, going by logic - she got a letter, her turn to answer/reply - but nah she have to act all coquettish pssh nah - sorry but both girls r a no go for me - don't like either character.. but just me so whatever XD

lol ur telling me XD the sec i saw his face i had flash-backs from Addicted and had to start watching (usually i wait until a drama is completed cause waiting for subs and new ep aint fun lol) so like u said, lets hope it goes the way we want - cause i like both leads :D

lol that's what i'm hoping for, but after watching the 8ep i donno.. cause they not even around each other for anything to develop - and Ke Nan got this huge chip on his shoulder, that even if he runs into Tan by mistake, he just cold and pushes him away. get he focused on ping-pong but this is ridiculous XD as he needs to warm up for them to even be friends aish
but having said all this, this is 44 ep so maybe there is time for it to build?? i hope so otherwise this maybe just a mild-bromance

i'm binging and on ep 6 now, and yeah have to say (even though the start was a bit slow for me cause not interested in ping-pong or any other sports) the friendship between all the guys until now if fun, has its ups and downs and there r annoying character's and sad moments.
no BL or bromance to speak off, and yet this is interesting enough to keep me watching what is subbed and up-dated

don't get the conclusions u come to reading what i write - so donno if there is any point clarifying anything, as u read what u want - fine - have the last word - this is wrong and that's all i've got to say about this

i live a normal life with a multitude shades of grey, but there r lines that i wont cross. and yeah in certain subjects its totally black and white and i don't feel bad about this fact. i'm at peace with my morals, opinion's and point of view - let alone the life i lead

first off when u talk to someone u slept with - heck even if ur just attracted and never had sex - on the daily - that's worse then f*cking a stranger - cause u're emotional involved and thinking of that person constantly, so even if they didn't meet - they were cheating - saying oh they were just keeping in contact, is the worse justification - cause his heart was not with his family and he was constantly aware that he could have a different "happier" life with T - without the "baggage" that his wife and son became... cause that's normal life, not a vacation fling that's just fun

that's why the sec T "butt" messaged his wanting break-up with O cause he had enough - O reacted like a mad-man rushing to find T - u think that didn't come out of them keeping in contact??? plz
the fact that O wanted to leave his family for T also came out of that same contact - cause having lead the life he was leading, he felt like he was missing out something better with T and this time as T threatened to leave him he was choosing him -

the family O should've Never married that girl pregnant or not - the child would've at least be used to having a father that wasn't a constant in his life, but a person that lived apart from him - that would be better then the mess that he is gonna get now - as kids don't understand and will usually take the guilty on themselves - even when explained they think they r at fault - cause they freakin kids and as the adults O and T made a mess of things
but i aint gonna break-down this whole movie that i just disliked in so many ways that can't even begin to explain - whether it be over judgmental or whatever - this is my point of view and i guess u and i will never see eye to eye.. u enjoyed this - great - i didn't and after the scene with the wife giving her approval i stopped watching - cause i could care les for the happy ending

donno from what i wrote (in my reply to u - or in general) - how u came to the conclusions that u did - But when i mentioned them being gay - just pointed that out , as it wasn't a factor!! - that it could've been a straight relationship and i would feel the same

about asking for pity - the one that got married did so in-spite of knowing he was gay - and then goes on to contact and keep in contact with a dude he ditched the sec before his marriage - should we applauded this? understand this? why?!? when the ones he hurt r his wife and child - if he would've done the adult thing and gone back and broken-up with her -- his betrayal wouldn't be as bad - to either the wife or his kid. but too much to ask? so this not a movie making excuses for both his and his lovers behavior?? - cause when the heart is involved then then head and morals can be push aside ?

not to mention the pity-party the other dude kept throwing himself with the crying and weeping pushing the married dude away one sec only to run after him - that's basically an act - acting contrite - when he truly didn't give a sh*t - cause if he did he wouldn't keep contact with a person that "nailed and bailed" him in japan (especially not when the second time he sees the dude, its with his wife and baby) - but this is a "love story" and when the heart is involved then logic is out the door? and this movie isn't trying to explain and justify this plot? i am the one in the wrong? fine

well for someone who "..I'm not going to spend much time on this response because ..." the length of ur comment kinda contradict this statement.

and don't need to consider anything - not about this plot-line.. Yes life isn't black and white but making a movie, where the main story is understanding and encouraging cheating, yeah - not to my liking and i for one don't see any redeeming qualities about this.

u or anyone can find in their heart to understand the 2 male leads and justify their actions - yeah very human and maybe relatable to some - still not commendable, or justified cause they gay, so they got it tougher - so lets be more forgiving - nah.. cause this story could work with a side-chick instead of a side dude, and still i would call B.S. - cause when u a side-chick and willingly put urself in that role, u don't deserve pity or understanding - "u made your bed now lay in it" - maybe my outlook isn't to ur taste, but this is me and u don't have to like it or agree - but that doesn't mean its wrong
