so that whole scene with Hashimoto was the cherry on-top of his stupid behavior - has this moron forgotten he a man that can push someone he isn't into, away?!? is he capable of using his arms? or they for decoration?!? he just standing there acting meek lol lord give me strength - and of course Yagii needs to rush in to rescues his sorry ass - nahh pssh - enough

this was really good - great acting and interesting plot in-spite of it being in black and white and pretty slow-paced, it aint a boring movie. even had light and fun moments -

from the start i was absorbed into the plot and what was going on - loved Yak Jeon's personality - he was unyielding not matter what he faced, his objective was to survive and he fought for that - for himself and his brother. even in the face of exile, he showed a strong front and found a reason to go on - finding a purpose on that remote island, let alone a pupil and then creating a family. it was bittersweet considering the end but realistic as we talking historical biopic.

Chang Dae was also an interesting character considering his background - capability and achievement's. but the women really shined for me - they were strong, smart and very supportive of their men - that's what enabled them to succeed in their endeavor's... guess cause of how it ended it feels a sad. cause even if Chang Dae realized his "teacher" was in the right, and his big dream of changing the corrupt world, was near impossible. his getting back too late, to be with a person that he really cared for - that treated him better then his own biological father did - was sad... still enjoyed this - good movie, great acting!

Gi Tae was popping pills why before he drugs Jun Young - and add the amount of alcohol he consumed was pretty sure he was a suicide mission or some such, so even though the end was sad - it wasn't depressing - cause it was left open and maybe his break-down dance, didn't necessarily mean he was gonna end things, cause of how Jun Young deserted him. (but the movie i saw had really bad subs, so a lot of this was a guessing game for me and maybe i missed info that would make me come to a different conclusion - idk)

saw this with bad subs - got the gist and kinda sad - hate teacher - student relationship's but would like to know if they got it on in the gay-bar cause the teacher was blind drunk or just made out and then the student got fixated on the teacher?!?
and get that the teacher was panicking himself, cause of his position and this bein a 18yr old kid he was taught . let alone wondering if this would leak etc - but didn't like him hitting the kid to get his point across - he as a gay person should know how difficult growing up gay is, and more the attraction the kid was turning to him cause he was the same - but all in all good story

this was perfect and this is the first K-BL where the ending was flawless, loved every moment of this and smiled from start to finish - this whole drama was just a cut above most of the K-BL's i've seen and its not the rest have been that bad - its just the ending has Always! sucked and left me bewildered as to WTH was this sloppy wrap-up job... here it was just right!
nothing was forced or rushed - a load of common sense like with Da On not being picked and his reaction to it - or his conclusion... ugh this was a balm to the soul and a great job by all - inexperienced actors, production and all. for sure a rewatch!!! loved every moment - but this a bittersweet moment as no more so a big Thank You for a real gem that i shall for sure revisit from time to time

until ep 2? i'm at ep 13 now, and Kim Nam Gil still around - reading ur comment was sure (cause he a gangster) he got killed early on - he still alive and kicking ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ just saying...

well i didn't like the hurt look on Kuzumi's face, cause he understood that smile - which btw considering how Kido treated Kajima afterwards - what he got to smile about? or was it just remembering that instance, then i get it i guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

this was so short - heck miniscule, that it's left me with a "WTF was the point even of making this" feel - if this was a set-up for a 2nd season yippy! but it doesn't seem so, and we kinda get from the ending of Mood Indigo, that these 2 end up together - as in cohabitate.
so i ask again, why?!? yeah it u got a lot of bang for a buck, and totally happy to see Kuzumi's smiling, happy face, also happy to see a less manipulative Kijima - but left me a bit miffed, as i know this is it - the end (¬‿¬)(¬_¬ ) meeh

this was depressingly, interesting and yet confusing - as is half-way through i had a feeling this gonna get a sad/bad ending for all involved - so maybe the fact that the ending was not "bad" (as in no one died or got hurt) should've elevated this feeling of dread - but considering Ryu more or less got a price on his head, and he still in Japan is worrying - cause he doesn't seem like he has anyone to rely on and the only way to support himself, is by selling his body - so how hard will it be to find him?!? kinda discouraging - doesn't leave u with a "it can be a positive end" type of feel -

but was wondering why Bae Hwan decided not to take Ryu along? did he feel (especially when u see him coming out of his hotel room and almost knocking on Ryu's room) that he wanted more and considering the wife and child back home, he changed his mind and decide not to test fate?!?

donno about attacking him - but him sending the pic to Bae Hwan, was showing him "this is who Ryu is" - as Bae Hwan didn't know they slept together already - he just though when he walked in on them kissing that was the first time...

pretty grim, but in that day and age nowhere was "great" to be gay, let alone a country like China - so this wasn't shocking, just sad. as i doubt the MC was into pain and S&M, he just got used to it, as he though being in a relationship with a man entailed getting beaten up and abused, used as a punching-bag to vent their frustrations in life. so looking for love meant not only the joy, but the pain that logically came with - basically sad

this drama was made for a 70th anniversary celebration of something - shouldn't it be more - i donno - lighthearted, uplifting, hope filled - anything but this depressing, disheartening mess - and with All due respect to realism and being true to life - who doesn't know that real life sucks-ass?!??? anyone??? that's why we freakin lose ourselves in dramas and movies, to keep reality at bay (•_•) aish

well thank u for checking :) and ok - i will agree that Ko was hurt and also agree that it is hard for anyone to stay close to the person they love and can't have - especially when they in a new relationship - that just unnecessary pain, so i get the realism in that plot - but as i mentioned (somewhere) Teng didn't befriend Ko with an ulterior motives and he was genuinely confused why his friend ghosted him - that hurt and mattered to him, so much so he was doing everything to confront Ko so they could clear the air and get back to being friends - the least Ko should've done as he did have an ulterior motive from the word go, was to be up-front with Teng.
at least then Teng would back off and also get his own head-on-straight (as i also mentioned somewhere) had a feeling Teng was in the closet and just not ready to come out, and maybe an adult conversation - a confession - explanation would start him thinking about what he really wanted, let alone whom.

about the sex - maybe the word force was over-kill, but Teng acted totally passive towards a drunk Ko's "pushing" and yeah it was a bad, moronic move on a couple of levels - it shouldn't have happened and i blame more the writing then the character's - as Thai BL writers love their "...he was drunk, so that's basically an invite for sex.."
