who did what to whom i still don't know...…

who did what to whom i still don't know... just know that i feel bad for Cha Soo Hyuk, everyone's leeching off of him. even Lee Yoon Dae who he took in, cause he found out he broke-up with his girlfriend & didn't have anywhere to stay, is finding ways to leech off him.******************************************************************************************************************************************what happened between them... will we get a back "story"? or it ok to assume that as Cha Soo Hyuk admitted to being gay, pushed Lee Yoon Dae away the sec he realized he had feelings for him. & as he was still a teen then he just bounced instead of explaining himself?

but in this ep that wasn't the case…

but in this ep that wasn't the case - the marriage between their parents is non-existent. but Cha Soo Hyuk asked his mother about Lee Yoon Dae father. so family friends? they related somehow - idk...********************************************************************************************************************************************what caused the guys to grow apart?!? left wondering if this a plot-hole or a problem with the translation. ******************************************************************************************************************************************just bummer in these BL's recently the parents/adults r always such a burden & obstacle to the main character's well being & happiness.

i feel like a lot is getting lost in translation,…

i feel like a lot is getting lost in translation, like most of the time i am guessing at what is being said or what the meaning behind everything is - like connecting the dots... lol********************************************************************************************************************************************the "Hyung" is throwing me off - is it just a term of respect or did Cha Soo Hyuk's mother & Lee Yoon Dae's father get together, so they half-siblings?!? know Lee Yoon Dae's father is abusive & cause Cha Soo Hyuk is living with them (in room adjacent to their house (?) Lee Yoon Dae goes there to get away from his father. that's how the 2 mains got close.

so this short sequel was just so the guys…

so this short sequel was just so the guys would confess their love?!? (as until now they only confessed their 'like'). not complaining - just wondering, as a lot of issues were brought up & not really resolved. **********************************************the main one; Minase inability to come out to his friends, he wants to marry but that not the 1st step even in a straight relationship, it's telling ur friends this person is special to me; i love, care, cherish & am dating them(!). ***************************that's the 1st step, the government's approval isn't needed. for that matter neither is ur friends. it is staking a claim, an announcement to the world regardless of opinion or judgment on the matter. ***********************************************************************************************************************************************the fact that Minase does show that he cares & loves Hirukawa is great cause it feels to me that Hirukawa is more of a giver in their relationship. so he needs to see Minase worried & distort that he could lose him. still too short & this should've been longer just so some of the questions/problems that were brought would get solved. but it is what it is - cute

guess the theory that subconsciously we seek…

guess the theory that subconsciously we seek out partners who resemble both the positive and negative qualities of our parents/caregivers isn't that far fetched, as Minase gonna end up with someone who is like his father. wonder how he will deal with it, in the long run. as is his whole childhood he was alone, now Hirukawa is gonna be absent for huge swaths of time... idk if i could deal. *************************************************************************************************************but regarding the wedding, i get that it was more then about the ceremony. but as Minase studied in the US (am sure) he knows that there r states were gay people can marry, heck that possible even in some countries in Europe. so while planning their honeymoon (in the last ep of the prequel) why not start of with the wedding & then continue with the honeymoon? too practical a suggestion?!?**********************************************************************************************************************************************anyway as i really enjoyed the prequel am happy we get a bit more of Hirukawa & Minase.

well am glad that Minase also showed growth,…

well am glad that Minase also showed growth, cause was worried there for a sec that it all amounted to dutch courage. so am glad that the morning after, he didn't revert back to his mute self. ****************************************************************************************************this was indeed lovely Minase writing a book professing his love, while Hirukawa produced his love letter, turning it into a movie.***********************************************************************************************************************************************Japanese BL's just elevate what seems mass produced by other industries. this was a beautifully written, acted, produced drama. for sure a rewatch & happily would recommend

yr(s) have passed but Minase hasn't changed…

yr(s) have passed but Minase hasn't changed much (his only "growth" r in bad habits like drinking & smoking), Hirukawa on the other hand seems to be in a better place emotionally. so yes i want Hirukawa to be happy & find love, but i also want/need someone that he doesn't needs to take care of & hand hold throughout their relationship... *************************************am i being too harsh on Minase? considering everything Hirukawa has suffered & lived through, fighting to make something of himself, he deserves someone that worked equally hard at being a worthy person for him. too much to ask?!? guess i am the only jaded person here

reading the comments one would think Minase…

reading the comments one would think Minase poured his heart & got rejected. he didn't(!) as per usual he stood mute, rooted to the ground not being able to verbalize what he wanted to say. cause he's indecisive about what's the right course of action. the only truthful thing he said was that he was selfish & childish. yes, he is immature & it isn't something shameful to admit & i would go so far as to say that even being selfish, isn't all bad. everything going on in Hirukawa's life, made Minase feel like he was in over his head. that's why he didn't fight to keep Hirukawa, by confessing his feelings or telling him that he hadn't brought him bad luck. *************************************************************************************************************************************************as i pointed out in a previous comment Hirukawa needed to distance himself from everyone in his life (yes, even Minase) he needed to learn how to put himself & his well being before others!!! that will come by being alone, where nobody knows him & doesn't have any prejudices & preconceived notion's cause who he was perceived to be (a delinquent, troublemakers). that will come where he doesn't need to 'look after' anyone else (as he will ALWAYS put other before himself). for his self-esteem he needs to be alone & see that he can succeed. when he realizes his own worth, then he will realize that he is worthy of being loved, that he isn't less then.. so yeah this ep wasn't easy emotionally (to watch), but it was a healthy mature choice.

i saw a movie where it more or less said that…

i saw a movie where it more or less said that if there is abuse in a family, the authorities can't/wont intervene as the patriarch of the family has the right to educate those under him; wife, children. & only if he kills someone the cops get involved. idk if this was an exaggeration or this the actual reality in Japan. same with the authority the teachers have or rather the homeroom teacher. *******************************************************************************************************************************poor Hirukawa, everyone hell bent on destroying his life & he knows (or is so used to everyone dumping sh*t on his head) that there is no point fighting, so he is quietly going along for this destructive ride. ******************************************************************************************************************************************btw all the kids at school rejoicing at his downfall & they better then him, cause? same with Minase's friends, they keep asking him why he's defending Hirukawa. why can't he retort "why u bad mouthing him"?!? but he just gives up at the slightest push-back. not blaming him given his personality but still frustrating to watch. as Hirukawa is on a downward spiral that doesn't feel like it will end well... ********************************************************************************************************************************************i hope Hirukawa doesn't take the blame for his father's death, he has the self-esteem beaten out of him by his father & by life. i hope he doesn't say something that will give the cops the go-ahead to toss him into jail. it's not like anyone cares or will do the due diligence to make sure what the truth is. kinda heart breaking

i don't get why Hirukawa is sacrificing…

i don't get why Hirukawa is sacrificing himself like this, with his mother now with his friend. WHY?!? what is he to blame that his friend is a moron?!? that same friend insults, laughs & hits him. yet he takes the blame?!? & sorry the only thing Minase can say is, "...i though u would be decent..." - why, what he do wrong? this was frustrating on so many levels. **************************Minase is passive, just sitting on the side lines not wanting to get involved or do anything, the fact that he invited Hirukawa to his home was shocking, but since then he does the bear minimum when it comes to someone he cares for. i get not knowing what is best, not wanting to do something that would hurt Hirukawa on the long run. but he always just sit around waiting - ***********************************************************************************************************************************************i had a feeling Majima would hurt Hirukawa some way, but i thought he would find out that Hirukawa was with Minase & that would be the catalyst to Hirukawa's destruction. *********************************************************************************************************************************************i know this a romance & if u put everything else to the side, the chemistry between the guys is great, they even good for each other (when they in a world of their own). but when reality encroaches then i think Hirukawa needs to cut ties with everyone & put himself before anyone else.

the fact that Hirukawa was attracted to Minase,…

the fact that Hirukawa was attracted to Minase, not shocking even in the 1st ep when they walked past each other Hirukawa was looking at Minase. but was great getting his POV.*********************************************************************************************************************************************also had a feeling he assaulted the teacher cause of something the teacher did. just wish he would put a stop to his father in the same way. he doesn't need to kill him, just standing up to him once might make him stop. & that mother is moronic "... a mother knows.." what a bad joke, wanted to slap her silly. she moved on with her life & her son is suffering - how oblivious we act when we don't want to be bothered with the truth.

the kisses keep getting hotter.. but life…

the kisses keep getting hotter.. but life not smooth sailing, so wonder other then their parents, will there be more turmoil that will cause the pair to part?!? *************************************************************************************************************even though, i should be in the moment (& enjoy this) idk why i keep waiting for the other shoe to drop. no matter how sweet or positive the moment is, i keep waiting for something to happened that will destroy the magical moments that r developing between the mains.

i guess both r unsure about their feelings,…

i guess both r unsure about their feelings, that's why neither knows what to do... & Hirukawa wont commit verbally to how he feels. but am enjoying how their relationship is developing.********************************************************************************************************************************************** but am tired of seeing Hirukawa being used as a punching bag, there no way to help him?!? it's great he want's to protect his mother. but she the freakin adult that chose to marry a monster. am sure she knows that her husband wont calm down, now that she has left. it is just convenient for her that she doesn't have to worry, cause he can vent his frustrations on his son. *********************************************************************************************************************************************agree with the other commenter that there is this vibe of forbidding, that this wont end on a positive note. maybe it's how every ep starts - where we see Minase all alone, writing a letter he can't send. why? where is Hirukawa?!? as is he is living such a tragic life with no one who is really offering him a helping hand out of the hell he is stuck in... how can things get better this way??? anyway hope i am wrong.

even though the kiss was just barely a touch…

even though the kiss was just barely a touch of the lips, it was indeed butterfly inducing. the mains got chemistry.********************************************************************************************************************************************but i have to say that i really dislike Minase's friends. especially the dude with glasses, WTF sh*t is that to say; if u hang around with or stand up for Hirukawa, it might make me hate u - like WHAT kinda b.s prejudge is this?!? didn't like the mother either, but at least i get where she is coming from or rather this a POV held by a load of parents. same with her talking down about her husband in front of her son, making sure he never followed his heart.

Hirukawa is beautiful, that bone structure…

Hirukawa is beautiful, that bone structure - just wow. Minase on the other hand is pretty, fragile & pretty. regarding the ep; why the hell this a plot point, i so didn't think Hirukawa's secret would be an abusive father. this the 3rd BL i have watched recently, were the father is an abusive drunk, like WTF. *************************************************************& cause of his rough exterior he is being signaled out at school, failing classes & might not only be kept back but end up never fulfilling any type of potential. considering how sad he looks & depressed he is i am sure he doesn't have any dreams of aspiration's in life other then surviving is father. even if he wasn't beautifully captivating my heart would go out to someone who as a teen - that is his time o shine & be full of life & joy yet he is like a candle that is fading away... *********************************************************************************************************************************************Minase on the other hand is a bit self-centered (which is understandable given his age - teens tend to be self involved) plus i am sure he doesn't know what to do to help someone in Hirukawa situation. so he rather push him away then have to face something he doesn't know how to deal with. "head in the sand" is a way in life for a lot of people....
