well the mains met & find it ironic that…

well the mains met & find it ironic that Sun is reminded of Kong, cause of the picture in Song Min's gallery, that's why he noticed him cause he is imposing Kong's essence on Song Min. the irony is kinda in bad taste if u ask me. ************************but i have to say it bothers me that Sun isn't jaded considering the life he has lead in prison (let alone how people r treating him now that he is out). 3 yrs of constant fighting & he can't take Tan?!? who by the way - what sort of f*cked-up welcome was that?!? he was there & saw that Sun was framed & blamed for Kong's death, when he wasn't at fault. if anything Tan as the adult & a freakin trained fighter should've done anything but stand around watching the chaos taking place. he did sh*t all then & then didn't think to bail Sun out, but only did so when Sun's elder brother gave him the money. then am sure he didn't visit Sun in prison & when Sun finally came to see him, he acted like Sun was at fault, not just for everything that took place 3yrs ago but for Aim's threats & the takeover of the place he worked in?!??**********************************************************************& i get Sun has a lot on his mind but it bothers me that he is kinda nonchalant, given how his older brother treated him & his sister. shouldn't his priorities be; 1 finding a place to stay & not living in a how with someone that wasn't reliable? 2 searching for his sister & making sure she was ok & letting her know she had a home once again?!? if he was now 21 his sister was younger then him, so shouldn't that come before opening a muay thai - one he would have to keep a secret considering the psycho Aim??? how much would he make in a place he couldn't advertise?!? don't get the logic.

this wasn't much better then the 1st ep,…

this wasn't much better then the 1st ep, yeah there were interesting bits, but on a whole this was meeh - i could care less about the mobsters & what they were doing. Song Min & Jun Ho's dad is disgusting, little wonder Jun Ho is a bit "slow" given the way his father abuses him at at every turn, who would turn out normal. ****************************************************************but what is really annoying me is that Ji Hun is getting away with playing Jun Ho, Song Min & especially their moronic father. he is supposedly an adoptive son & yet he is getting treated better then Jun Ho, who gets treated like a henchman & a lackey - which doesn't compute with the family dynamic in Korean society - heck any society where family or blood comes 1st. & the fact neither boy speaks Thai, allowing Ji Hun to plan their downfall, is making me see red - yeah all involved r bad-guys & yet somehow it bothers me - maybe cause he was the reason for Kong's death. ******************************************************* **************************************************************************************************************************************** found it ironic that Sun was the one who was sent to prison for Kong's murder, but given that most 3rd world countries, heck even 1st world ones, have corrupt cop's & legal systems where money talks. so of course it was easy to pin it on a powerless & moneyless guy. but what bothered me more is how the family (kids) fractured, they should've found it in themselves to grow closer - unite to share the burden of their loss & ironically the eldest chose to vent & blame the youngest. petty immature sh*t - ******************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************* side note: like i already mentioned in my previous comment, i aint into fight scenes but this time (in the prison) i watched & have to say i thought that for a guy that kept getting trained by his father, Sun was/is a really bad fighter. but wasn't 100% sure i noticed right, cause i kinda fast-forwarder all those scenes. & here watched & yeah i aint wrong, he is BAD. idk what the director was thinking, but it looked worse then amateurish & what's more it didn't look like any of his punches would do any real damage. it was kinda ridiculous & just bad. also some one Tape's scenes - the loaded emotional scenes - bad acting. but that's not just with him. so wondering WHAT people were going on about... this a masterpiece?!? idk.. ***************************another bit that's more nitpicky, but given both leads r in their 30's.. they look it - which i kinda fault the cinematography or lighting person/director(?), as it's harsher & they look old not as youthful as their character's r supposed to be. IMO -

given all the hype for this BL, i must say…

given all the hype for this BL, i must say i was a bit apathetic throughout this ep - yeah the end was kinda brutal, but it wasn't the fight as i wasn't riveted by the fight scene or the basketball game, or much of the rest. also given that violence not really my cup of tea, i hope there's not a lot of fight scenes - an absurd wish given the genre of this BL, but one can hope lol... but the ending where poor Sun didn't just lose his father, but also his 1st love on his birthday, is one hell of a birthday present. *************************************************************************************************************************************************also the irony that Sun is gonna end up falling for a guy that was a co-conspirator to his father's murder / ordered hit, but also that same guy's brother was the one to end his 1st loves life. one hell of a hurdle to get over - ****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************also if Sun's father was a mobster (& not just a Gym owner, as i assumed for whatever reason) then why he only have 2 subordinate's?!? that's weird.... idk *******************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************side note: i get that we have 2 Korean actors so we needed everyone to incorporate the language barrier somehow, that it would tie into the plot & make sense. but the fact the father was communicating in English with his son is moronic. same with the older brother hanging with guys that speak fluent Thai, while he doesn't - this bothered me & really took me out of the plot as i was busy cringing or rolling my eyes. i really hope this gets good soon, otherwise i might end up dropping it cause i don't want to be semi bored for another 40 plus mins...

hmmmmm what to say.... had a feeling this…

hmmmmm what to say.... had a feeling this would be left open (well there was a part of me, that was worried it would go down the depressing route) so an open ending is more then welcome & yeah by the end Ko Yeong was loveless, but not all alone. as he was surrounded by his bff's which have been the one consistent thing in his life, they r rid & die - he should be thankful for them, cause there people out here that don't even have that. ***********************************************************************this whole ep, the more Ko Yeong smiled & laughed the sadder i got, especially when he was in Thailand with William, who ironically was another lost soul - but this was also very beautiful in the rawness of depicting relationship's, love & how fickle human emotion's can be. *************************************************************************************************************Ko Yeong saying he wrote "love" as a wish on the Chinese lanterns, when he actually wrote Gyu Ho's name - reaffirmed my conclusion that he was the love of Ko Yeong's life. sad that he didn't realize what he had when he had him... donno if he will get a 2nd chance, or if he will find someone new. but the one thing that bothered me is the fact that he never told his friends about "Kylie" - i know he had reservations cause of the stigma & how they would react. but idk, that bit is the only thing that i would've liked to see dealt with. as they r his only living family - but it is what it is . this was so good & yet very sad. bottom line very realistic & well acted.

i must say, seeing the life of a gay guy is…

i must say, seeing the life of a gay guy is pretty shocking & not the bed hopping part, the fact they so fearless.. meeting strangers in strange places, without a 2nd thought, not informing anyone just to keep them in the loop. is kinda crazy to me as a woman. so seeing this aspect played out is kinda awe inspiring (for want of a better word) & given this lifestyle, i kinda get now why living a normal - average life, with a partner as a couple doing mundane sh*t (like he had with Gyu Ho) could turn tedious, not just boring. now i kinda understand why he had ant's in his pants & was annoyed about everything Gyu Ho did & didn't do. cause he was used to an adrenaline rush 24/7. but no relationship can deliver this 24/7, 365 days & more... *********************as much as i too wanted the mystery guy in the hotel room to be Gyu Ho, William is a very hot, exotic surprise that i am totally enjoying lol vicariously - of course... but the next ep being the last, will Ko Yeong get a happily ever after or will be this an open end. personally i don't mind either as long as we don't get a depressing ending i am all good. (what with "Kylie" i was very worried).

ugh i wanna shake Ko Yeong, but i get him…

ugh i wanna shake Ko Yeong, but i get him - he is frustrated with life & the fact his dream is always out of reach, so what good that he does have, he is taking for granted & looking for problem in his relationship. Gyu Ho is a sweetheart & he unlike Ko Yeong isn't jaded, he is innocent & pure hearted, he is happy with their quite, simple life where they work, come home, eat together & just exist in each others company. ***************************************************************************************but that is boring & Ko Yeong wants an exhilarating relationship, which isn't logical not when the honeymoon period doesn't last that long & even if there is love & lust, it is a work in progress, where both parties need to work constantly on making sure they keep the romance alive. *********************************************************************************************************Ko Yeong also is the type of guy that isn't an open book & he loves to guard his feelings, which leaves a very open & candid Gyu Ho feeling like their relationship is one sided. personally i don't know how much i like the fact that Gyu Ho needs to get hurt, in order for Ko Yeong to realize his feelings & how Gyu Ho is worth fighting his own demons for... but i guess it is what it is & it will be Ko Yeong's loss, if he doesn't realize this before it is too late & he wont have a chance to get Gyu Ho back. ************************************************************************************************************************************************************side note: so i was right & this is a BL where Mi Ae is a side character - unlike the movie. at least now don't have to worry i will have to witness an abusive scene

another ending that's left my head spinning…

another ending that's left my head spinning - i didn't see that coming, this whole BL/drama has been one plot twist after the other. sadly the mother did pass & thankfully Ko Yeong good friends were there to support. they r really good friends, as that his biggest secret he wasn't able to share the load with them cause of how it is stigmatized. **************************************but i have to say i am kinda surprised by Gyu Ho's reaction, am very happy he is as sweet, as he seemed & big hearted enough to empathize with Gyu Ho in that moment (after his confession). but (& call me self centered) but if i was in Gyu Ho's place, the 1st thing that would come to mind, would be the 1st kiss where they didn't just exchange saliva, but blood. i would be freakin out internally, wanting to rush & get tested ASAP. i wouldn't even think to console Ko Yeong, maybe after getting the results, i would find it in my heart to think about Ko Yeong. but i would be lying if i said otherwise. so idk where Gyu Ho's is coming from. & as there 3 more ep's, am guessing it's not gonna be smooth sailing until the end. just hope this doesn't have a sad ending - as is this has been a hell of a emotional roller coaster until now. *************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** side note: was very happy to see Mi Ae again & even happier that she seems content with her marriage life, didn't know how much i liked her reverting back to her 'collage self' & i hope her trying to "educate" her naïve, younger sister-in-law wouldn't backfire & destroy what she has.

well this was one hell of a depressing ep.…

well this was one hell of a depressing ep. how the previous ep ended & how this did OMG - polar opposites, as it was going i wouldn't have been surprised if by the end his mother passed away on his lap - like WTF. *********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************the plot twist came out of nowhere... as i already mentioned Yeong Su was hard to read, but i didn't expect him to be an utter coward. it's one thing to be in the closet, regardless of the reasons or the hang-up's, but it was f*cked-up how he basically belittled Ko Yeong's feelings at the end. he deserved to get punched & worse. the fact he hurt Ko Yeong so much, that Ko Yeong tried to end things is beyond sad (as if he didn't have enough on his plate with his sick mother), Yeong Su turned out to be an utter disappointment, so am happy that after a yr when he tried to apologize in his own way, Ko Yeong tossed the apology in the trash where it belonged. ********************************************************************************************** watching this, ironically remembered Ko Yeong's last words to Nam Gyu, where he admitted to being a coward that wasn't ready for the love Nam Gyu had to offer. here Yeong Su chose to hurt Yeong Su instead of facing / admitting to the fact, that he was a coward that wasn't ever gonna be able to leave the closet. instead he chose to insult Ko Yeong by belittling his feelings & the love that did exist between them. making a joke out of him, as if two men can't fall in love. MOFO deserved to get kicked not just punched.... ugh *******************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************personally i wish Ko Yeong would have a heart to heart with his mother, about her forcing him into conversion therapy - that was a messed-up thing she did & even if there wasn't anything to discuss, as both knew why she did it, i still think Ko Yeong needs to voice his hurt & betrayal, so he can forgive & let got of that trauma. maybe it would also do good for the mother to hear him out & apologize for what she did.

this would be the perfect ending - the romance…

this would be the perfect ending - the romance between Ko Yeong & Yeong Su might have started off shaky (cause even i didn't get if Yeong Su was gay) & his quite & brooding personality, made it harder to read him. but the line of him liking Ko Yeong's universe & that kiss OMO... that was like a star burst. it was wow & unexpected from such a somber & subdued guy - that kiss was fire & little wonder this the 1st time i see Ko Yeong giddy in-love, who wouldn't be. but as this just ep 3 i wonder what is gonna happen... ***********************************************************************************************************************also wondering about Mi Ae, hope she wont make an appearance only when things r wrong in her life. & of course i wish nothing bad happens to Ko Yeong. but i guess with all the hints dropped this will go south sooner or later. but for now & this ep - this was perfection & exquisite depiction of romance if there ever was one.

just the 2nd ep & jeez louise this has…

just the 2nd ep & jeez louise this has turned heavy, makes me wonder WTH is await us in the next ep's. but this is really good - well acted & the writing is blowing me away. this is really a cut above a lot of other BL's & drama's. still has the feel & quality of a movie. ********************************************************************************************************************************Nam Gyu's death came as a shock to me, i didn't expect it. as is he was such a broody introverted character that blossomed when he met Ko Yeong, sadly his bloom didn't last long cause their relationship was short lived. but i hoped (when Ko Yeong drunk dialed him) he was already seeing someone. but they chose this route, i guess to emphasize Ko Yeong's despair & loneliness, where he lost not just a close friend but also someone who loved him unconditionally. - freakin depressing ep. ******i got why Mi Ae broke her promise but i didnt like it one bit & i think Ko Yeong was justified in feeling betrayed. & yet now that she has settled down with the same guy - i hope this will be different then the movie & she will have a happy life or the reason for their break-up wont be abuse. but this more wishful thinking... lol & as there 6 more ep's to go i am a bit nervous how this gonna unfold...ugh

50 mins duration & somehow it felt longer…

50 mins duration & somehow it felt longer (not cause it was boring) maybe cause it felt like a movie - was debating if i should watch the movie 1st & then the drama, or visa versa. but reading the description the movie felt like Mi Ae was the MC, while in the drama Ko Yeong is... maybe i am wrong, but that's the feel i got & also happened on a scene from the movie, where there is abuse (which could also happen here) but still. that was too brutal for me to stomach, so chose this. *********************************************************************************************************************************************************************must say i am shocked & yet not, how people stigmatize someone just cause they not the average jane they know. just cause Mi Ae's feisty, free spirited & wears what she want's (& it isn't even that reveling) but cause her clothes r flashy, she's automatically stigmatized as the campus slut. even assaulted in cubs, cause god forbid a woman drinking & wanting to dance the night away, is a grave sinner. & if she dances with a strange man, she must "want" him. backwards logic, that exist in too many countries, regardless of how western they might seem. where not just the men, but the women think in these primitive ultra, conservative ways. *************************************************************************************************************so am happy she found a kindred-spirit in Ko Yeong, cause she really needed someone on her side, that will just be a friend & not judge her. Ko Yeong on the other hand, might be like her in some aspects, but he has his group of close friends where he can be himself, where he isn't judged & just loved for who he is. ****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************now his love life is another matter - but it isn't a major issue.... it was interesting to see how his romantic life was depicted, i knew from the start it wouldn't work-out with Nam Gyu given the age difference, they were like oil & water, both in different places in their lives, wanting different things, having different interests... just cause they were attracted to each other, doesn't a ever lasting relationship make. so was sad for Nam Gyu who was ready for love & got his heart broke but other then how ruthless Ko Yeong was when breaking-up i didn't really fault him, cause i am pretty sure he started having doubts on the 1st day they started dating (in the car ride). so his getting his heart broken later in the ep was kinda ironic at how similar the dialogue was.

Jae Min was such a nut-case, & know that…

Jae Min was such a nut-case, & know that when dealing with crazy people - there isn't a right or wrong thing u can do or say, cause u can never really know what will make them to lose it.... so even though i was annoyed by how passive Da On was (considering the situation) i got why he might have been terrified into that passivity. *********************************************& i kinda got Su Hyeon freezing in place - cause Jae Min was genuinely crazy scary. but i didn't get his giving up that easily cause he froze, when it counted most. if anything Jae Min's crazy taunting would/should've turned Su Hyeon more obsessive about what he meant. but as this the last ep, so it needed to get wrapped up... so never mind & am glad that he did a 180 at the last moment - letting Da On go. **********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************this was a well acted, well written plot, on a whole i don't think there was anything unnecessary that was used as filler & i would've loved Da On being less passive, letting the stronger / manipulative character's just push & pull him like he was a doll. the only way he knew how to deal with any given situation, was to run - which i get when u r a teen or a child but as an adult that was supporting himself, he should've shown some growth in that aspect. but again - it is what it is at this stage, at least he realized who he really loved & admitted this fact (something better then nothing) & the cherry on top he apologized to Seong Hyeon, didn't just confess. this was a fun watch that took me too long to finish (idk why) maybe cause i didn't want it to end lol. either way this going on my rewatch list.

have a feeling the last shot was a mislead…

have a feeling the last shot was a mislead (as there no way crazy is gonna just call it quits cause Da On said 'no') & it isn't Su Hyeon - but given how crazy he has been acting, i might be wrong & it is him. either way i have to say, i don't get how Da On's head works. after the whole scene with Jae Min, i get taking him to the hospital. but that note?!? like r u kidding me? no freaking out? no telling him to 'stay the f*ck away' cause of how he has been gaslighting & manipulation everyone & everything around Da On the whole time they knew each other??? nothing...*********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** then he runs all the way to get to Seong Hyeon only to stand there mute, not run a few more meters to stop him & explain the misunderstanding??? like r u kidding me - he even knows where Seong Hyeon lives, so he could've followed him home - not wait for the next day. aish this dude is giving me a headache with how defeatist & passive he is. **********************************& then the cherry on top, he goes to meet Jae Min in the parking lot - really?!??? after he lost it & started talking crazy Da On still wanted to meet him in an isolated place??? all alone?!? is he serious?!? like WTF was he thinking... *******************************************************************************************************************************************************************but have to ask - what is wrong with both Jae Min & Su Hyeon, how could anyone who is normal in the head, think the way to Da On's heart was gaslighting, manipulating or strong-arming him into a relationship?!?? in what universe this will make anyone swoon & happily agree to get into this psychotic, mess of a relationship??? they both need help & with Su Hyeon his parents r not on board & he isn't independent from them (like Jae Min) so his working so hard to "get" Da On is pointless, as even if by some miracle Da On enjoys all the manhandling & screaming, the sec they start dating or cohabitating , Su Hyeon's parents r gonna come in to put a stop to things. so i don't get the point of Su Hyeon going crazy, before he has resolved the issue with them.

this shouldn't have been called 'Secret…

this shouldn't have been called 'Secret Relationships' but psychotic, toxic, nut-house relationships - like what the actual f*ck. both Jae Min & Su Hyeon r bonkers & sadly Da On it the ultimate pushover, enabler. his way to deal with both, is to just give in. what type of life is that?! also found it ironic him just saying to Seong Hyeon, that he would break his heart. guess Da On is a freakin prophet or he just knows, he will happily walk all over someone good, cause of bad-guys that he can't find a backbone to stand-up too anyone assertive. & i know the reason he chose to go with Su Hyeon, was cause he knew how volatile he can be & that he would hurt Seong Hyeon, so in his mind he was saving Seong Hyeon by hurting him - the irony is ridiculous. ***********also kinda glad Da On was finally (!) clued into Jae Min's true character - dude beyond nuts. i was sure he would go after Da On, as he doesn't come off like someone that would hurt himself. psychopaths usual don't. but is this way of guilting Da On into forgiving & staying with him?!? or is he gonna blame him & threaten him into staying with him. by now i really don't know how his f*cked-up mind works. will have to wait & see.***************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************this BL is really well acted & love interesting the character's r, really well done until now - ****************************************btw am glad that by the end Da On realized he shouldn't let Seong Hyeon go, as is he was taking his sweet time realize important sh*t & worse he was hurting poor Seong Hyeon so so much idk if just saying lets date will make up for all the heartache. Seong Hyeon deserves better he is such a gem of a character.

well how disappointing, for a sec there i…

well how disappointing, for a sec there i thought - hoped that Seon Chaek wouldn't turn into the typical brain-dead FL, but alas by the end of this, she went down the imbecile route. i "love" when women fall for mobsters that live most if not all of their lives in a dog eat dog world & cause they have fallen in love, they needs to just stop & their life will suddenly / miraculously turn rosy - where their past wont come back to bite them in the ass (as it always does) - here is Prince Gyeong Seong's situation/life any different?!? & Seon Chaek should know better then the average FL, cause this b*tch has read the web-novel from start to finish so she should know his life story better then anyone else. but she is acting stupid, why? cause she is in the role of FL now, so her brain has shut-down?!? ***************************************************************************************************************u need to be told to stay away from Prince Yi Gyu, given the animosity between him & Prince Gyeong Seong?!? every time they r around one another they verbaly try to bite each others head off. if u care for someone, u don't go seeking out - let alone caring for a stranger(!!!) especially not one they have beef with. but not our genius FL. OMG but i have had enough of stupid women. & as is had a tough time warming up to Seon Chaek cause of her wishy washy, airheaded personality. she needed to be way smarter given the fact she had all the info before "landing" in the novel - like come on. *******************************************************************************************************************************************************************************given everything happening in this ep, from the stupidity displayed by the FL & ironically the best friend - the "badguys" finding a reason to join forces - the only one i feel genuinely sorry for is Prince Gyeong Seong, he has had a tough childhood & life, now he had to go & fall for a moron that is gonna just make his life harder - 3 eps more to go & i am genuinely contemplating dropping this... ugh
