Another episode is coming tomorrow. Just give it a try. I did skip the “hostage “ part. I think Jenny will…
Your reply highlights another absurd, yet often repeated, BL trope: That young men can reach the age of 17 without "knowing" or "coming to understand" or "awakening" to the fact that they are attracted to other men. Physical/sexual attraction to other boys or girls, depending on one's orientation, comes right along with puberty for guys, to the point that it is almost the only thing we can think about at that age.
Seeing as how Wang is FAR past the age of puberty (look at all that hair on his calves!), it is a fact that he has known he likes guys sexually for at least five years, maybe more. The fantasy of young men being unaware of their capacity for same-sex love and sex until they meet "the one" is a purely false BL convention.
Just like with all the other BL tropes, at this point, with so many of them already having been made, I am stunned (I'm stupid, I know) that authors and directors keep repeating this stuff.
Another weird aspect of this show is that to this point Wang has been portrayed as asexual, except for the one hilarious "morning wood" scene, which is the kind of thing this show needed a lot more of.
You're kidding, right? "This is only Sheng's right." lol omg
lol omg...read my comment above yours, which I just left. We wrote almost the exact same words in reply to her question of "who has the right to see Tian's schlong and walnuts?"

Anyone Tian chooses to let see "it" has the right to see "it."
Your focus on who sees a specific person's junk is definitely a cultural thing. I mean, when the guys shower after gym class, they see each other's weenies. It's not a big deal. And no one was manhandling or sucking on Tian's unit, which is where most of us would draw the line, so where's the problem? I take it you have never gone skinny-dipping with a mixed-sex group, am I right?
You live in Bangladesh I see. Are you Muslim? I ask because if so, that would explain your perspective on who gets to see Tian's junk.
i realy got no nerves or braincells left for something like that....it was a working day...and yes if i would…
The best/worst part of the keystone cops kidnapping scene was when the evil bad guy boss was fondling his knife and ordered his minions to rip her clothes off. The minions then began hesitatingly and daintily, slightly tugging at her sleeves and shoulders, clearly not about to rip any clothes off of anyone, least of all Jenny. I could hear the actors thinking..."damn, when are the two guys who are supposed to stop us and instigate a Kung-Fu fight going to come in the door? I can't really rip Jenny's clothes off..."
I think the teacher duo missed their cue and the director didn't give enough of a shit to do another take to correct it; which would be in keeping with the direction throughout the rest of episode 9.
I haven't seen the newest eps yet, but I am not surprised to hear it's falling apart. After all, the premise was…
That's where I am in regard to this series, Maggi. I've hung in there through 8 eps, absolutely suffered through the 9th, so having put in all that time and pain, I'm not about to drop it now. But unless a miracle occurs, my rating will be in the sub-5/10 area.

In my interpretation of what's been going on, Wang has understood the "extent of his feelings" for Tian at least four episodes ago. He knows good and well how he feels about him; his face has said it all a hundred times. The idea that he still has anything to "figure out" about his feelings is simply typical BL writing bullshit.
These added plots are completely unnecessary. Both the love triangle and the bet for butt weren’t in the book…
Yes, sometimes it is exactly that. It all depends on the language of whatever contract has been signed between the author/publisher of the source material and the makers of the adaptation. There are LOTS of cases in which the adaptation-makers are free to do whatever they want in making a novel into a screenplay. It's just that it seems that within BL World to this point, sticking closely to the source has been more common that not. There's no reason that can't change though.

The character in More Than Words owns his sexuality and leaves, but there is no "other." He just got sick of the duplicity of his former BF and the fag hag.

There is no reason an adaptation has to follow its source, word for word, scene for scene. This has been the case since humans began making adaptations about 3,000 years ago. The book fans need to grow up. What am I saying? This is MDL....
