Episode 8: Another 23 minutes of mostly nothing. Well, we did get people apologizing to each other for existing over and over again, but with this show, that's a given.
Azuma tells himself he's in a low-key, pressure-free, loving relationship, but the one he's actually in is one-sided af. Kuji gives nothing.
Once in a while, he might begrudgingly put his arm around Azuma or give him a half-smile, but that's it. He's one of the most closed-off characters I've encountered. Often, his nonchalant lack of concern for Azuma's feelings and cold statements are cruel.
There is a reason Azuma asks about things like staying in that beautiful, old house, or whether Kuji wants to marry one day, or if Kuji likes the handsome older man. He's looking for positive feedback, but he's asking for it from a zombie, and he's not going to get it.
I feel like Azuma has low self-esteem, and so this one-sided "love" is perfect for him. He doesn't think he deserves anything more.
This can't be the same two characters shown having hot sex in the first episode. Kuji is an emotionally damaged, asexual aromantic, and Azuma is pathetic.
This never happened. The story was invented by this guy's agency, written (badly) by AI or one of the agency's human droids, then passed along verbatim by our resident journalistic genius, Lily Alice, who may or may not be a bot herself. The photographs were taken and provided by the agency.
Why would this guy issue his "polite refusal," then stop to amiably pose for photographs? lol
if you wanted some adult content and intimate scene , there is another genre for you . You demanded from the drama…
You're less than intelligent...buddy. I never asked for a rom-com or a porn movie. That's your near-intellectually disabled take on what I DID ask for, but whatever.
Please don't respond until you've worked on your English as a Tenth Language exercises. You're near-incomprehensible...buddy.
"Some of you are going crazy about actual romcoms and forget that REAL ROMANCE is not about "I love you"…
Like I said, you're dense.
I NEVER "literally" wrote that they SHOULD have "added a kissing scene or even a sex scene." Of course, that's an option, but I also wrote about other choices the writer could have made. "Should" implies that's the only possible recourse, which is not the case, and not what I wrote. I also never said, "a relationship on screen ALWAYS has to show the viewer those scenes to make a romantic relationship work."
You're skimming the surface of my comments with a chip on your shoulder, then responding to what you've cherry-picked.
To clarify something, did you mean to say up above that DM and EA are mentally unstable?
I don't want to read the comments because I'm on EP3 and I don't want to be exposed to any kinds of hints (not…
The way you feel about DM at this point is the way you're supposed to feel. Many of his colleagues in the "8 Group" or whatever it is, feel just as you do. All you've seen so far is that DM is loud, obnoxious, insulting, opinionated, arrogant, and constantly belittling other people and their work. There is a LOT of DM you have yet to see. Trust me, keep going.
Hey...I wanted to know, if this movie has any intimate scenes or anything...my mom & dad are gonna watch it. So…
Well, my parents are dead, so watching intimate scenes with them would be difficult. Were they alive, yes, I absolutely would watch a film or drama with "intimate" scenes in it. We would be three adults watching a film for adults. What would be the problem with that?
Would I watch pornography with them? No. But we're not talking about porn here. Generally, when I watch porn, I'm masturbating, so that would be...awkward.
"Some of you are going crazy about actual romcoms and forget that REAL ROMANCE is not about "I love you"…
My comment was made 100% tongue-in-cheek.
But, I absolutely CAN imagine a close/best friend of another close/best friend doing the sweater thing. There was nothing necessarily romantic about it. It was loving.
Please note - the genres attached to this drama does NOT list romance - down rating a series because it isn’t…
Give it a rest. I wasn't thinking "of typical romance genres," as I've repeatedly made clear. That was the last thing on my mind. And, unlike you, I don't rely on "genre" tags to tell me how to perceive a movie or drama. I depend on what's on the screen to tell me that. "Non-rom." Is that a genre? Be sure to check for that tag before watching your next show. Otherwise, how will you know how to feel about it?

The bit with the sweater was one of the most beautiful moments in the show. I agree there was no romantic energy between the leads, if I understand you correctly. I said elsewhere that it would have felt weird for these two characters, as presented and acted, to make out. That vibe just wasn't there.

Of course, I could be wrong.
Flared nostrils are sexy.
That seems fairly toxic, but maybe it's just me.

That's a nose job, by the way.

No one, least of all me, asked for a fucking "romcom." That's you lying.
Ok, so either you're dense, dishonest, a liar, or all three.
Thus, I'll waste no further time responding to you.
