I liked the show. I think the acting could have some improvement but part of was due to the plot in my opinion…
I felt like the "actor" character only came to life in the sex scenes, during which his eyes/face actually conveyed emotion/connection/passion. The rest of the time he was an android.
Amusing comment. Is the show seriously bad enough to be good, as the kids say?
I won't pay for it, either. I would pay if I were wealthy, but I'm not, and if I paid all the fees to see all the bls I wanted to these days, I'd be broke.
So meanwhile, there are all the beloved pirate sites to frequent. Let me know if you need some links.
Episode 2: Multiple LOLs this ep. :) The pillow/turtle stack between beds, hahaha This is well written. I'm actually buying into the wish thing because it's being played consistently with its own rules. The good acting continues. And damn, each one's better looking than the next one...and no nose jobs. yay!
The guesthouse setting is charmingly worn and lived-in over time-looking, which makes everything else feel authentic. So many BLs are set in pristine, brand-new environments, everything, including costumes, fresh off the rack. Even the clothes the actors are wearing here are true to the characters.
Episode 1: Wow, two of my fave young TW actors opposite each other in a BL...nice! :) Jed caught my eye as a special talent already during those crazy "Jump the Boy"...things. :) Chu was excellent in the film, "The Time of Huannan" (highly recommended). This shows great promise Excellent production values (though, if anyone can tell me why so many BL directors over-light night scenes to such a degree, I'd appreciate it), acting, and direction. I'm not a fan of stupidity like shooting star wishes and time travel, but if everything else is top-notch I can pretend not to notice.
Also, all the actors are damn good-looking, including dads, cousins, and friends, but none of them in that plastic, nose-job, idol way that's such a turn-off.
This shows great potential. Good acting, nice ambience, great sets/locations, actors who smoke like they didn't just pick up their first cigarette. This isn't "Boys Love," it's "Men's Love," but "ML" doesn't have the ring of "BL."
Uhm... I was under the illusion that I understood this story until the last 15 seconds of the final episode! 😵💫So,…
haha...it could be all of the above! :D
I'm hoping for a sequel. And I thought the same thing about his running all the way to the airport. Considering this is Chinese, this ambivalent ending, with a kiss in undefined time included, is a huge improvement over the usual double suicide.

I'll be back to watch again after all are released.

"DL," perhaps? "Dudes Love?" :D
This one appears to be for grownups.
I couldn't get the link to properly copy/paste, so just go there and enter title in the search bar. :)
