Episode 5: Another stellar effort. Eps 1-5 have built and built and built on each other with near-perfection. The combination of goofiness/humor/romance/raunch/feels has me by the balls and won't let go. I'm a little shocked that there are five more eps to go. I feel I've already seen two fascinating character arcs and an in-depth, rivals-to-lovers plot...because I have. And we're only halfway through!
This one is a surprise to me. I had no expectations, and now I'm thinking it may end up on my fave BLs list. No expectations is a great place from which to start watching any show/movie, of course.
This couple is so damn cute, but also sexy and emotionally affecting. I teared up three times this ep, with multiple goose-bump episodes between the bawling. What a nice surprise.
I go back and forth as to who is sexier, Ryo or Zen (love that name). Hmmm...Zen is cuter, but Ryo is sexier, more seductive. I'd likely put out for him even if I didn't like him much (which I do). There's a big heart under his seductive bluster, which makes him all the more swoon-inducing. Anybody with me on this?
The casting of the young versions of their characters is excellent. Ryo especially. For a moment, I thought that was the same actor playing him as an adult at the end. The kid has his mannerisms down, plus a strong resemblance. Young Zen has the same affect as the older actor. Well done.
Question...should I have recognized the dude at the very end who said he was the "sales god of Osaka" or something? I sense turmoil ahead. I'm seated.
I’ve loved all the episodes and they really all came together to make episode 5 just so perfect. I need to rewatch…
"I am so confused what this isn’t more popular and rated so low..." There is a three-word answer to this timeless and oft-repeated observation: "It. Is. MDL."
MDL ratings are ass-backwards, mirror-images of reality, you see. :) Trash is gold, and gems are shit. This is all you need to keep in mind. :D

A few commenters have mentioned that they are bored and waiting for the series to end. In response, I have two questions and a comment:
Why are you still watching? Is someone holding a gun to your head?
One of many sad side effects of the digital/Internet/social media age on the human mind is a drastic reduction in attention spans. Tik Tok, Twitter, IG slop, Youtube, and other short, choppy media, designed to cater to the ever-scrolling mindset of Millenials and Gen X, in turn reduce these spans even more.
If you think this series is dragging and you want it to end, you have digital/sm brain rot.
Also, don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.
On edit: This is a perfect place to observe the common whine of MDLers that anyone posting more than a few semi-coherent, non-capitalized/punctuated sentences in comments has "written a thesis," which, of course, makes it unworthy of their now 8-second window of engagement. I laugh, and also weep, every time some MDL moron cries "I ain't gonna read all that," in response to two and a half short paragraphs, let alone five, or god forbid, seven. Because, you know, it's good to be stupid or...something.
Sorry this thesis is so long. I know you ain't gonna read it.
Episode 10: The parade of moving episodes continues, along with great comedy, romance, and occasional extreme sexiness. In the latter department, couple #2 is damn near running even with the MC. But there WAS that epic ep #8 scene that will likely keep the MC forever in first place. :)
Somehow, the screenplay has kept me on board with this ridiculous shooting star/time travel silliness for ten episodes, now.
Couple #2 deserves their own series. So freaking sweet/sexy/cool.
When/if the dad ultimately recognizes his son for who he is, I am going to be a wreck.
Of course, people perceive colors differently. But that doesn't mean the sky is not light blue. Are you saying the sky is not light blue, but whatever color any individual says it is? That would be news to scientists. There are specific, natural reasons the sky appears blue to 99.9% of humans.
Your need to flog your alleged status as a student, allegedly deeply studying profound issues of the human psyche over and over here, indicates a possibly severe level of insecurity and a poor self-image.
You have a lot to learn. I hope you do so before subjecting any clients to your ignorance. But, remember, anything you learn is only someone's opinion, right? You wouldn't want to be a "normie." That's ick.
The romance isn’t overt which is why a lot of people are upset. They were hoping for something a long the lines…
I agree, the ML's "idol" status is part of the problem, if not THE problem with this show. It pisses me off that Korea continues to cast straight or closeted actors who are unwilling to commit to gay roles, as gay characters in gay screenplays.
Dozens of BL screenplays have been wrecked by this gay-but-not-gay phenomenon. Apparently, directors are more than happy to butcher their show for the sake of getting a big name in the cast.
There are zillions of scripts out there. Why don't these scaredy-cats take other, safe, straight roles and leave the gay ones for real actors who aren't cowards?
You're wise to forego watching this. To anyone with discernment, who is not a homophobe, whether outright or internally, this is pure BS gay bait.
