Finale:
Lord.
This is the kind of BL that, if one of my normal, non-BL friends IRL watched it with me, they would turn and ask, "You actually watch this shit?" lol

By far, the best thing about the show is the love/sex scenes.
From acting, to blocking, to cinematography, they are feature film level.
Which is why I suspect a director other than the series's credited director handled them. Not kidding, they are that different and that much better.

There are far too many ridiculous plot holes and inconsistencies to mention, so I won't. If you choose to watch, skip ahead to the sex scenes. I think there are only three and a half of them, though.

As for the MLs, they'd do better to establish a co-OnlyFans account and stop inflicting their non-sexual acting upon us.

4/10 (For the four sex scenes.)

It took me a while to get into the series. But at the end I loved everything about it.Their chemistry is amazing.…
"The acting is really good."

This show running on vibes and chemistry 🥲
For me, the only vibes/chemistry are during the sex/kissing scenes, and there aren't enough of those.

This deserves much higher ratings! It is so good with balancing time jumps, plot twists, natural intimate scenes…
hahahahahahahahaha...

Does your account exist for the sole purpose of promoting horrible WeTV shows with bad direction, acting, production, and everything else?
It appears so, after a look at your profile.

Episode 7:
Don't believe the comments below raving about this show's awesomeness and giving it 10 ratings. They HAVE to be WeTV bot accounts.

This has become one of the most hilariously, unintentionally bad Kbls ever. :D
I certainly hope Director Lee Heejin is never, ever, not in a million years, allowed near the set of any live-action production of any kind, anywhere, on any planet in any universe.
My god...lol
The acting/pacing/blocking that has resulted is epically, painfully slow, clunky, and...stupid.

Bringing in a psycho K-fan could have been a great move, but the acting/writing is so bad that all I could do was roll my eyes and lol. The actress is beautiful but will not soon win any Blue Dragon statuettes.
I don't think I was supposed to laugh when shown a close-up of a butcher knife in the hand of the potential murderer of an ML.
Or wonder why Saebeoyok didn't call the cops when death threats in unsealed, unaddressed red envelopes started piling up. ("I think I'll just start keeping this sweet fan mail in a special, keepsake box.")
Or wonder why no one at the psycho fan's prison thought maybe they should read the outgoing mail in the unsealed envelopes before letting her brother haul them out of the facility.
Or wonder why her brother was bringing her red envelopes.
Or wonder why the b***h didn't seal her envelopes.
Is she saving her spit?

I love when Koreans who want to go incognito in public dress in all black, complete with black ball cap pulled down low over their eyes so they will totally NOT look suspicious and conspicuous. :D

Lee Ja Woon's acting throughout has been god-awful, but it's gotten progressively worse. Other than during the sex scenes, which are the best part of the drama by far, he comes off as a sweet but damaged robot.
Hwang Jun Su isn't a lot better, but at least there are some variations in his affect.
Maybe they were romantically into each other during filming, and that came thru in the tasty sex scenes, because those are the only times they seem like fully-functioning humans with real emotions.

Unfortunately, there are far too few sex scenes.

On to episode 8, and this will be over, so I can stop watching. It's too good/bad to give up on my own.

their stiff faces and oversmoothed filtered face was already getting on me and the plot....nevermind
This was a problem for me from the beginning, too.
Especially the actor, who most of the time looked like a very friendly robot.
Way too much clown-white powder and lip gloss, too.

I believe Kbls often feminize/de-sexualize BL leads to render them less sexually threatening to the BL, little girl fan base, but this one was Thai-produced.

I haven't looked into it in depth, but I believe they are sporadically releasing episodes as they scrape together resources to put one out. It's too bad, but I think they're really hurting for $$$.

It's frustrating because the show is better than most crap out of Thailand, which churns out 17 new BLs per week.

this isn’t Thai…. it’s Korean. does anyone know if they have used AI for it? some parts have an AI feel…
Are you referring to production elements like the backgrounds/scenery. Several of those scenes looked like BAD AI. I laughed.

It's a Thai Production. Please watch the end credits of each Episode. Plenty of Thai Production crew listed. The…
I guess that explains the hot kissing/love/sex scenes. :)

Not a week. According to MDL the last ep will air on 4/1 ( that's tomorrow) 😉. Take a deep breath, breathe…
Oh my.
No Regret is my #2 favorite gay film.
Double Mints is #5.
Great recs. :) Although...it's a mystery to me how you'd compare/relate them to this drama.

I guess that you and I just have different sensibilities. That is why they make vanilla AND chocolate. I hope…
Do you watch a lot of dramas?

Episode 1:
Not bad so far.
The worst aspects are the plastic surgery, clown-white makeup, and lip gloss.
I'm serious; it's distracting; also sad-making, as these young actors were probably gorgeous without the work.
That said, despite a few laughable elements like the hilarious car incident and the "hospital" with no medical equipment, doctors, or nurses, this feels promising.

Episode 2:
A doctor!!!
Hmmm...I'm actually intrigued by the mystery(ies?) lurking in this story.
Normally not a fan of complicated time travel/amnesia/blah blah BL plots, but so far, I'm finding myself curious.
That sweet butt shot is apparently due to the Thai producers, yes? We don't get much of that in true Korean BLs.
Now I'm wondering if the actor/BF has had collagen injections in those lips. Those are Yoo Ah In-level puffy lips, but I'm pretty sure Yoo's are real.
hmmm...that "AI revolution" headline in the first episode...is the actor/BF an android? That would explain some of the robotic acting. :D

Episode 3:
Worst green screen background in the history of BL (the nighttime one). lol
That's some nice kissing.
I like that the coffee guy is so odd and a bit creepy.
I hope the big secret isn't going to be what it looks like it's going to be, which would be a letdown for me. I want something HUGE and nigh-unforgivable to be revealed.

Episode 4:
Well, that took a turn for the worse, and not in a good way.
Some of the acting is quite bad, as are multiple production elements.
The plot is feeling more and more disjointed, also not in a good way.

Love reading all the outraged, ten-year-old MDLers realizing for the first time that romance among human beings can be complicated. lol
"Whaaaa....I don't like cheaters who cheat while cheating!" :D

Thanks for the chuckles, kids.

Episode 16:

Made it!
I wish I had thought to watch at 2x, with added jumps in extra slow spots, from the very beginning. It's amazing that even at double its intended speed, there was little that seemed rushed, and the jerky, high-speed walking and other body movements made for much-needed levity. :)

I felt zero real romantic chemistry between the leads, but I think perhaps there is feature film chemistry and Kdrama chemistry, which are very different. This was of the latter type, and quite chaste, prim, and proper.

I don't know how to fairly rate this, as I don't like the typical, slow-ass, romantic Kdrama. Since this is that, it should be rated accordingly, but I'm just not its target audience.

I'm going to cop out and give it a 5/10, right down the middle.

Oh wow you're watching this drama. I've been thinking about watching it soon, I like the whole "noona romance"…
Technically, I AM watching it, but at 2x speed with added manual skips when it gets boring even at that speed.

I left a shit load of comments below as I watched. I loved it during eps 1 and 2, but then it went rapidly downhill and now I'm hanging on for dear life.

I just am NOT a drama person, generally speaking. They drag out for 16 episodes, more or less, what could be told in a well-done, engaging 2-hour film. Sooooooo slow.
