The mother is not as evil as we like to believe she is.I believe in redemption.
Of course, you think it's far-fetched because it's a lot easier to cast the mom as 100% evil than to admit things are more complicated than that. Do I KNOW for sure that PART of her reasoning is that DM would be indirectly helped by her move to replace the famous actor in the Knock Knock Knock role? No...but, I did not say that I 100% know that to be the case. I suggested that it may be, and that this interpretation is much more interesting, though less morally satisfying to those who self-righteously rush to judgment on the matter because it feels good to do so, than the interpretation that the bio-mom is the Wicked Witch in Snow White.
How does it "not matter" that Eun Ah's grandmother has a new knee and is being treated like the queen she is? I think Eun Ah and her grandmother would disagree with you there.
Regardless of the Wicked Witch's motives, the grandmother DOES have a new knee and is being properly cared for.

I'm not interested in discussing this with someone who thinks in black/white, at least on this matter. I'm not saying I KNOW the mom's motives; I'm saying no one does, and that most people here predictably rush to black/white judgment because it's easier to condemn the mother as "evil" than to take a breath and consider that things are more complicated than that.
On some level, who gives af why the mother let Eun Ah use the card? The result is that the grandmother, who desperately needed a new knee, is getting one and is being cared for. That seems like a good thing to me.
"Evil" mother...lol. This isn't Snow White, though a lot of commenters here are casting Eun Ah's mom as the Wicked Witch.

Ahhh...I see you're into trendy, pseudo-psych terms. I see OJH as challenging Eun ah"s thinking on the matter, rather than 100% "justifying" what she did. Again, you're ignoring that OJH was beaten and psychologically abused by her husband at the time she left Eun Ah. Do you think she might have not been 100%, totally in her right mind at the time? You're a black/white thinker on this matter, so I won't go further. Human beings seek black/white clarity in a universe of shades of gray.
I repeat: OJH's actions and words are the reason Eun Ah gathered the courage to tell Choi that she was the co-author. She stopped and screamed on the pedestrian bridge because she was frustrated that her "evil" mother was right, and she hated that. I would hate it, too.

Few people are all good or all bad.
Mom knows Eun Ah and Dong Man are an item. Maybe she took Noh Kang Sik's role in Knock Knock Knockk so he would take the part in Dong Man's movie...? Anything's possible here. This would also give her the chance to work with Eun Ah...?
And you're forgetting that the mother let Eun Ah keep the credit card to spend as she wished, knowing she'd spend it on grandma, which does the mom no good in the PR area. Why would she do that if she were "evil?"
Episodes 9&10: This is one of the most extraordinary multi-part, live-action shows I have ever seen, from any country on any continent.
While every episode contains multiple scenes deserving of their own diamond-encrusted freeze frame, the hands-down winner from these two episodes is easily Eun Ah enclosing Dong Man in her still-buttoned cardigan and holding him tight against herself. Just one of many times during this series I have spontaneously teared up over a dialogue-free visual.
If those two ever get down with it, it is going to feel like a holy event.
And both OST main songs were made with STUTS, so dreamy and sad and beautiful ðŦķI also prefer these kinds of…
lol, you're right. :)
These supposedly gay-friendly MDL prudes are blind to how enabling they are of sex-phobic, retrograde, shame-based gay storytelling.
I don't know what it is, if I ever did. Are they so starved for gay content that they gobble down whatever rancid crumbs fall from the table? Nah...that might have explained it 30 years ago, but there's no excuse for it in 2026.
It may be related to the general, emerging prudishness of Generation Z in the US. MDL is 60% Western females.
the Series itself has a cute message. But why are they just banging 24/7. Like guys i know you are down bad but…
The 24/7 banging is a huge part of "the series itself," partially because their relationship starts as purely physical before it becomes something else, and partially because they are both young men who are horny 24/7.
Why wouldn't they be banging 24/7? The 24/7 banging is central to the story. :)
Does anyone know where online I can watch the film, "Sound of Love," which stars Kashio Atsuki/Akihiro? The trailer is intriguing, but I haven't been able to find it.
I didn't know applause times at Cannes were so meaningless unless they go over ten minutes. lol
Thank you! :)

Shows not over yet.
The question being, what does she do to earn it?
I believe in redemption.
