I hesitate to exhibit my cluelessness, but what is the flip tabled plot twist that blew you away? I thought I…
Oh, yes, I got that. I guess I took those scenes as Kano having a huge revelation of sorts, and I was along for the ride, but didn't think of it as a classic "plot twist," at least not the way I think of them. Either way, I liked the way that revelation was handled; it was intriguing. Like I said, I was along for the ride. Deep down, I think I was thinking all along that somehow we would get back to Ogami 1.
To me, a plot twist would be like if Kano 1 came around the corner at the office in Parallel World 2, and bumped into Kano 2, who was still existing somehow in the same world. :O
He suddenly became a good guy and now he's fatally boring ๐ ๐ ๐ They really should have committed. Wow.Perhaps…
hahaha...I know what you mean. I am definitely toxic-friendly. I feel like JH regained some of his poison in ep. 6, though. Also, I wanted it to be true, the shit Jeong In has been saying about Iljo, that he was banging him and Iljo was blowing other people, etc. Now, THAT would be some spicy developments.
Il Jo and Jeong Han kind of switched personalities in ep 5, and it was a little jarring. Still enjoying the drama…
I agree. Jeonhan become a needy stalker seemed to happen on a dime, and all of a sudden, Iljo was the boss...? Thankfully, things seemed to reverse course in ep. 6.
Episode 6: Dayum, this is good. Excellent acting across the board, especially for a BL. Iljo's tragic, wounded bird act is wearing thin. He's wishy-washy, moving in, moving out, I can't keep up. He must be extraordinary in the sack, just as Joengin claims otherwise why do all these people put up with his spineless approach to life. FFS, take a stand. Whoever's dressing Jeonghan deserves a raise. Those light-tone suits are killer on him. The fight choreo, from the beginning, has been feature film-worthy.
Episode 5: Insecure/Dominant/Stalker is a bad combination...in the best way possible. Drama! Those open-mouth kisses. I wet myself. It's a challenge to read these little moods/silences Iljo pulls...I like that. The coffee manager is hard to read, too...I like that. I've always found it more comfortable to do the deed on the passenger's seat. I was hoping Iljo would say deeply troubling things while eating with the coffee manager, so that JeongHan the Crazy Stalker could overhear and lose his shit. Those two office chicks are nosy af.
Ogami has an interesting type of handsomeness. This show is quite good. I don't normally go for supernatural BL stuff; it usually feels stupid. But this is working for me. Acting's good, too. So does the second Kano switch back and forth from world to world when the first Kano makes a switch, but in the opposite direction? I half-hoped we'd get to see Kano 1 run into Kano 2 in the same, second world...thermonuclear explosion, obliterating all space and time for eternity.
Whatever happened, it was over 35 years ago, and he was a minor. Who cares?
You are the problem. JJW did not "get away with" anything. nearly 40 years ago, he participated in some offense. He was caught, and it was dealt with inside the juvenile justice system. That is the end of it. What is accomplished by destroying the man's career all this time later for something that was addressed way back then?
No, you did not directly say JJW is a bully or a sex offender, but you mentioned those offenses in your comment above, in which you were talking about JJW, the implication being that JJW IS those things. That is how rumors and false information spread online.
I have never said "bullies should get away with their crimes." You're the type who makes up things commenters never said, then react to what you made up. I don't play that game.
What is it with your type, that you insist on moral judgment on celebrities, whether they committed a "crime" or not, and think destroying a person's livelihood and reputation is a punishment you get to inflict when the accusations are rumors and trash, submitted by anonymous people online 35 years later?
I'll assume you're Korean, but regardless of where you are, your perspective on this is deeply messed up.
Another thing I never said is that you don't get to express your opinion. You expressed your opinion loud and clear, and I responded to it. That's what happens in discussion threads. You have the right to post whatever, but you don't have the right not to receive negative opinions in response.
Whatever happened, it was over 35 years ago, and he was a minor. Who cares?
You are part of the reason so many Korean celebs take their own lives. No one gets even a second chance with people like you. One strike and they're out.
Whatever JJW did, he was a MINOR at the time. He was punished for the offense, and that should be the end of it. If offenders are never forgiven for their crimes, even if they went through the justice system and paid their dues, then what incentive is there for anyone to truly reform and move on with a good life, as JJW has done? No matter what they do to atone, people like you will come along nearly 40 years later and get their panties in a twist over it.
JJW is NOT a sex offender. Learn to use Google and do so before commenting on a topic.
I agree, it's a shame that he has retired because of all this nonsense. It's unbelievable to see so many hateful…
JJW knows how it works with these "scandals" about nothing in Korea. Once an accusation about something has been made, no matter where or who it comes from, or how obviously bogus it is, the press and netizens will pile on until he either retires or kills himself. Better to recognize the reality of the sick situation and get out alive.
It's bad press. People really hold grudges, whether it's truth or slander. Run with the juicy gossip, destroy…
I just hope we don't get a repeat of Lee Sun Kyun checking out nearly two years ago. Obviously, Korean press learned nothing from that horrific incident. These people are vultures.

Looking forward to next week.
Maybe my chemistry detector is broken.

The intro credits sequence is damn cool for a BL.
