One of my quiet, simple, fave BLs. Kura Yuki and Mizusawa Rintaro are sensational in their roles. I wish the story had more meat on it, though. And I wish sexual energy had not been erased from the universe in which this story takes place. That it was makes the story a chaste but charming fantasy.

This flick had me at hello. I was thinking, "wow, this is going to be a 9/10 or higher," but then...not so much. By the end, I was more mystified than anything...wondering what I was supposed to believe I had seen. I guess I'll never know.
Great acting across the board. Fabulous cinematography, color grading, sense of place, authenticity, detail, etc. What initially felt like a juicy, gritty story slowly turned into something that seemed not-so-successful, colorful, and sometimes boring, leaving me disappointed by the end.

Glad you agree there was no "concrete" evidence against KK, and that it was a he-said, she-said case in which the judge had to pretend to know who was being truthful. Knowing he'd be hammered if he went with "not guilty," he chose the more cowardly but practical route of finding KK guilty but telling us what he really thought with that silly little fine, when he could have given him eight years in the slammer.

I know all about the trial, what he was accused and found guilty of, blah blah blah, and I don't buy it for a moment. Elevating an (alleged!) sensual touch of a thigh to a felony worth eight years in the slammer is insane. It will remain insane no matter how often you hysterically argue otherwise.
I know all about feminism...I was already around as it came to fruition and empowered women. However, we still have a long way to go in making women truly equal to men, even here in the US. Your continued view of women as weak, helpless victims no matter what, is the OPPOSITE of feminism. If KK actually DID touch the gold-digger's thigh in a "sensual" (gasp! lol) manner, she should have smacked him or thrown a drink in his face, told him to fuck off, and that would have been the end of it. But no, because she's a weakling, incapable of expressing herself (in her and your view), it has to be a felony assault charge.
Grow up and give me a break. I have grown daughters with whom I have discussed all of this. They agree that elevating such incidents to felony sexual assault undermines the credibility of women who have experienced the real thing, and rape, too. When everything, no matter how minor, is sexual assault, people stop taking the real thing as seriously, it's just human nature.
You can quote judges and lawyers all you want. The KK trial boiled down to a he said-she said case, and the judge knew he'd be crucified if he let KK off, so he pretended to care and gave KK a slap on the wrist fine with no jail time. THAT is the evidence of what the judge thought of this bruhaha.
You can accuse me of all kinds of motives, I don't give af. I support equal rights for women across the board, and I respect them as my equal already. Which is why I don't regard them as helpless, brainless, little girls like you do. I repeat: elevating a touched thigh to a sexual assault is absurd and insulting to victims of real sexual assault. The fact that this has been done by laws all over the world does not make it any less absurd.
All of this is assuming KK did anything untoward in the first place, of which I've seen zero concrete evidence. Accusations are not evidence, other than in your tiny mind.
BTW, people make up shit on the Internet every day. When you quote information, provide the source and a link. Otherwise, your quote is worthless. There is no excuse for not doing this, as it is easy-peasy. I'm not saying your quotes are inaccurate. I'm saying anyone who reads them has zero reason to assume they are valid without supporting links.
