if you haven't watched it you need toooo
this is the most unique drama ive seen in a while.its the perfect mix of action and comedy, most high school fighting dramas are thrilling or survival, but study group has much more of a plot rather than this guy trying to study in a violent school.
yoon gamin is such a perfect ml, and the way hwang minhyun acts him is perfect. he's the perfect choice for him and portrays him so well -- overall, its a great webtoon adaptation and matched the characters accurate to the manhwa
gamin is the type of character everyone loves, you literally just can't hate him ♡
the characters are accurate representations of teenagers too, because lets be real, realistically no 10th grader is strategical like seong sooji or yeon sieun.
the best thing is that gamin doesn't focus on trying to survive or fight off the bullies - he focuses on his study group the most, he will always put the study group first and this guy only fights off kids for his study group.
no matter how brutal the fighting scenes are, they made the show so that you'll be happy watching it no matter what.
but aside from that, the casting is perfect
when I found out they had 10,000+ auditions for the roles I immediately understood.
the way hwang minhyun trained and maintained his diet for 9 months for this show shows his dedication and it definitely pays off in the show.
yoon sangjeong usually plays office roles, but the 10th grader role suited her so much?? she presents heewon as such a likeable and adorable character and her face fits her personality way too much.
but the most impressive casting of all was the lee twins.
the way they arent even related in real life is insane because they look identical.
you can definitely see how much effort was put into this drama, and not watching it is wasting your time because an action drama doesn't get any better than this

The best drama out there
definitely my favourite kdrama of all time.this is the BEST drama out there, everything about it is perfect
the plot is so unique and well-written, like how tf did someone come up with a masterpiece like that???
this show has everything: comedy, nostalgia, romance, family, friendship, time-travel, disability
watching it will really make it get to you, you'll want to start a band of your own and experience a love story like that.
one character specifically is what makes it so special: ha yichan.
this guy is the LIFE of this show omg, he's so funny and adorable, and choi hyunwook did a great job acting as him
one flaw, is the last episode, because its so rushed and it feels like there's so much that they missed in it -- but I see it as because the plot is so complex, that's how they had to do it I guess? it was a vague ending though, we didn't see what happened after eungyeol went to the future for example or why ha yichan named his kid after his friend (son from the future) but..
its such a beautifully written and beautiful show in general.

actually one of the best dramas ive seen
(I havent watched the whole drama yet since not all of it is out on netflix)the amount of hate ive seen this drama get is crazy when you can see how much effort has been put into it and how deep the plot is? its very work-focused, 2 people who are struggling with their job but find each other and choose not to give up. I honestly think the snowboarding theme is rly unique, and u can see how snowboarding has healed people in this show. the FL is really not annoying, I thought that at first too but you genuinely get used to it and can understand her character better. she portrays the childish fl well and it doesn't seem forced, she's also rlly kind, sweet and mature so her "childish" character isn't cringey. the plot is so beautiful and overlooked, yes maybe it doesn't capture every aspect of snowboarding but you can see the effort and thought put into this drama sm. ive never liked a cdrama this much I think, and recently its given me the feeling I had when ive watched my favourite dramas. I don't even like cliche dramas like this that much, nonchalant ml and enfp fl, but this made me view it a different way. I love ski into love sm I would defo rewatch !! <3
