I feel like the final lineup will be 6 Koreans, one of them being Matthew, 1 Chinese (Zhang Hao?) and 1 Japanese (Keita?) because they still want to sell to those markets even though they're xenophobic, and probably Jay because he's American and that's different lol. I think they only put Koreans not from Korea in G group so in the end they can say "but look technically almost half the members are from G group!" Like, it's fine if you want to build a mostly Korean group there's no problem with that but don't put such intense marketing into the idea of making a GLOBAL group if that's actually what you're going for. Do the Thai and Vietnamese trainees even have chance? Honestly you barely even know that they're there...
I kinda wish the final lineup was gonna be like 11 or something so more people could debut but they would probably just use that to put more Korean trainees in there lol. Also let me know if anyone else feels like this but I have a worrisome thought that MNET will use JiWoong up until the very end to capitalize on his popularity, especially with inter-fans and then suspiciously he'll be left out of the final lineup. Or is that just me being cynical?
The Gemini/Fourth storyline is so sweet, I love them together. Maybe more so than My School President? Ah I like both
Also I think this is the best acting Earth has done. In his earlier years I found him to be a little... stiff. I feel like his emotions come across well in this series, and I think him being paired with Mix is part of it lol.
Yes the K trainees are very talented but please give more time to the G group. Also, why are they making the two groups compete against each other? Aren't they working together to create one group? I'm gonna be upset if we get a final lineup of 7 Korean members and 2 foreign members lol
I've given a lot of the recent KBL's 7.5 because they seem to all the suffer the same problems but I'm gonna give this one an 8. I don't know why but I enjoyed it more than a lot of the others. Hopefully this means we're back on track to the iconic BLs Korea is capable of making (Light On Me, To My Star, Semantic Error, etc)
I already knew the final group going in so I wasn't surprised by anything but if I had been watching in real time I would've been shocked about Gaku not making it. The editing made it seem like he was the favorite. Also poor Junwon, he was so upset at the end. He probably thought him having to sit in the final performances hurt his chance of making the group. Hopefully they all get to debut in some form!
Ugh, what a lovely little series overall! I came in with no expectations and really enjoyed what I got. They tried to psych us out with that last sentence from the previous episode but in the end it didn't matter. Really liked this one.
Also Thiw is a true friend. He said "nah there isn't going to be any miscommunication say what you need to say!" So refreshing
(My only issue... nothing happened to that kid that stabbed Aunty Tim? Feel like he should be in jail or something... maybe season 2)
Oh come on! You're telling me that not only is Inami a bad guy, but he's like a really awful bad guy?? Also do you want me to sympathize with him because he's admitting his feelings to his male crush? He literally trafficked people! By that one woman's account she was r*ped and it was his fault!!!
Although I had several issues with the series, I'm still gonna give it an 8/10 and I'll explain why.
1. The cinematography, self explanatory
2. Bee/Prince. The best love story of the series, to me. I really really liked them, I can't even explain why.
3. Dean/Pharm. I mean, UWMA is my all time favorite BL so these two will always hold something special in my heart, even if we barely get to see them. Also I don't know if its true but someone said that Ohm said he would only do BLs if his partner was Fluke and I just think that's insanely sweet.
Damn they got me crying two episodes in a row. If you told me that at the beginning of this series I would not believe you. To Thi’s parents, I hate y’all very much and I mean that disrespectfully. At first I was sure they were setting us up for a time jump, but then the curveball… very curious

4. How hot P'Pruek is.
