Very hyped about YunGun finally being an official couple (though technically they've been official since last week due to membership early access). Looking forward to their couple contents.
So happy with their decision to put 2J together on a blind date. That's the smartest decision they've done for weeks now, and the view number speaks for itself (compared to other blind dates).
Also excited for Yunje/Donggeon. All signs are pointing at them becoming official.
And last week I thought the reality show will do well... Turns out they did exactly what nobody wanted them to do! If 2J goes on a blind date, it'll be all hell breaks loose... No matter how cute their jealousy might be. But it's all filmed already anyway, so what use complaining now 😮💨.
It's not part of the next volume, and as far as I can tell, it's not scripted. So I think it's genuine casting.
But at the same time, I kind of assume anyone who shows up in this blind date show will end up joining Cityboy_log? Because having a boy shows up once and never again is a bit awkward? So is it really a "casting" or more an introduction? But this is my assumption, I might be wrong.
Yup, it ended in Feb. Right now what they're putting up for non-members is some HongGyu date vlogs (though I'm not sure if there's still anymore of this for non-members left) and the newly started blind date show to find new boys for vol 6.
This project is on-going. So they'll keep making new volumes until they run out of steam.
I'm glad the new variety show seems to be well-received, after the teaser last week made everyone (including me) anxious. Though it remains to be seen whether this is because the format works, or simply Yunje-Donggeon chemistry that works.
Finger crossed Donggeon will properly join Cityboy_log.

Congrats on making it this far! People hated vol 3 for having too much drama, so they swung the other direction and gave vol 4 no drama whatsoever. They regained a sense of balance between drama and fluff in vol 5. Hope you enjoy it!
Ep 4: There's a translation choice I very much disagree with.
When Sunbin came out to the captain, he said "I dated a coworker before". The gay is implicit, since presumably, said coworker is a fellow boyband member.
Meanwhile, the English translation said the quiet part out loud, by saying "I dated a boy group member before". It sounds very "I'm here, I'm queer", which doesn't reflect the delicate tone the conversation has.
Jihan will show up in ep 4. I know people are waiting for him, so there's that.
