not technically, but Raik's case is wrapped. On to retrial and life post Raik's case.
If there’s one trope I despise as much as silly misunderstandings, it’s the 'magic' reconciliation. I hate when a couple breaks up only to reunite later as if nothing happened and no time has passed. I understand the need for a cool-down period, especially after the intensity of the trial and those painful reveals, but I can’t believe the writers would just snap a bond that’s been built on mutual support and shared hardship over the last few episodes. I really hope the show doesn’t take that easy, frustrating route.
What a rollercoaster! I totally called it, it was the ex. She always felt "off" to me, but seeing her obsession and web of lies was something else. The moment that earring clue dropped, I suspected it was a couple's item. She’s even more unhinged than I imagined, especially trying to pin the entire mess on RaIk.
Honestly, I’m not a fan of the time-jump trope, so I’m crossing my fingers that tomorrow’s episode clears the air. While I get that RaIk needed breathing room after the trial, I refuse to believe they’d just throw away all that buildup and those sweet moments. That preview was easily the most frustrating part of the night! On the bright side, seeing the boys back together and making music again was the win we needed.
Killing off Don was the final nail in the coffin for this show; it was illogical and nuked the entire experience. And don't even get me started on Mawin’s father. There is nothing more exhausting than a plot built on years of drama that could have been avoided by a five-minute talk or a single photo. I’ve been skimming just to see if it redeems itself, but I’ve reached my limit. Tapping out.
The picture here explains who's who very well! https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fpreview.redd.it%2Fabo-desire-episode-1-v0-6v8qc2qhincf1.jpg%3Fwidth%3D4096%26format%3Dpjpg%26auto%3Dwebp%26s%3D1bfef5e4cd01e7d35bc28c4eefbf4632ce0e1459
But Hua is indeed my bias too, I focus on him the most
