I thought the same, he was def smilling in a weird way lol When he was sitting in the sofa and in the car, he seemed jealous of the attention he was giving to his little brother and mother. I wouldn't be suprised if he shot himself, just to stir Little Jane's emotions. I think he could predict that Little Jane wouldn't just leave without him. Right after he's shot, Jane shows his care for him, which is what I think he's wanted all along. The contract made things awkward and almost being forced made Jane become emotionally distant from him. But the thing is, the contract itself stipulates that Little Jane "don't be too emotional". He's being contradictory because he does want Jane's emotions on him. Big Jane is already breaking the contract, but probably doesn't realize it yet😂

It's extremely frustrating that Chaeha says he can keep himself safe. His cop background is useless because he can't defend himself at all lol He proceeds to get stabbed in the stomach every single time there is a knife fight. After being warned multiple times to not go anywhere to meet the 2 "suspected sons" and he goes do just that.

Censorship, damn you! Bully, this is nothing, she's done nothing that bad lol Rude, actually she's very polite and careful with her words. Arrogant, well she's within her position and power to be and she can back it up (Northwest princess and now crown princess). I wished they had gone all out for her character, it was so interesting seeing her bring down her enemies. She's never helpless, only when her health was weak in the beginning. I actually liked that she had some obstacles like her weak health and then was able to overcome it. I guess that would take more eps and there's no time to tell the whole story. They took out so much stuff, now that chinese dramas can't go over 40 eps and meshed so many characters together. What a pity, if they have told the whole story, it would make this drama stand out even more.

Honestly the drama pales in comparison with the novel. They toned down the FL and ML so much. In the novel, the FL is so ruthless and meticulous with her plans, and she always gets revenge on the people who tried to bring her harm (an eye for an eye kind of thing). In the drama, there's none of that, she's basically waiting for her enemies to bring her down lol

The bus scene, I just kept looking at the people's reactions. Instead of focusing at the couple lol I was just enjoying the people's reactions so much because they're basically us (shipping them). I had to rewind a couple of times lol

I read the manhwa, which they are following exactly and Sun didn't know it was him. Sun is a bit dense and slow when it comes to these things, like it doesn't click for him that Jay is Director Arthur even though there are so many signs. Also it doesn't help that he was grieving and wearing a bunny mask during it. Besides Jay didn't want to tell him, but wanted Sun to remember by himself. Sun only started rmb after they finished doing it and the karma talk🤣

He kept making weird creepy remarks and then trying to cover it lol Not only Director Tak had this weird eye contact with him, but he also keeps trying to get info from Chaeha. Making him feel guilty for not sharing~

I gave a 8.5, I couldn't give a higher rating, because there scenes that I would have loved to see, but were not adapted. The ending should have shown their rule together. In the novel, FL and ML lived together so many years that by the ML passes away the FL has no regrets because they had done everything they wanted together, made so many good memories. Afterwards, she ruled wisely alone and was even able to retire to travel the world. She passed away peacefully from a very old age and only then comes back to the real world. In the real world, I would have loved to how the ML used those 10 years to prepare to meet the FL, he used the knowledge the FL told him about the future to become an actual CEO. The last episode could have been better, they skipped so much and then it ended lol

You should download it and watch on the flight. Watch some eps and then get some sleep and the time will fly so fast~
