Agreed, so I went to the novel ending! It's a happy ending there and lovey dovey scenes from our lovely couple and their life together in the real world. For me, that's the real ending, not this painful separation. It's too painful for me to think how LJS had to use up all his life to reunite with RNZ in a virtual reality. So they had to endure being alone all that time :S

Scary at some points, but best door of all doors!! And the music at the end of ep27 was so hauntingly beautiful that I can't stop listening.

The actions and lines they say to each other are def not platonic, you don't say that kind of stuff to just a friend. The constant flirting and the heart eyes only reinforces that. The only reason they are not kissing or hugging is cuz of censorship lol

They get a clue about their next door and so won't violate the taboo condition, the chance of survival increases. The more doors they go through before their actual door, the more clues they can gather. They won't die so easily and while at it, get more experience playing the game. I didn't read this anywhere, I just made this assumption, with the amount of doors LJS was going through before his actual door, it seems like the only logical explanation.
