I swear I've already watched ep 16 and so I thought ep 17 was gonna get released today but....no?
technically yesterday they released episode 16th (you could watch it a week ago cause people could pay for advance viewing on WeTV or on pirate sites that ripped it) and it was the last episode of 2nd part. There was around one month break between part 1 and 2 so this time is probably going to be similar
I've watched EP6 and i'm tired of bad parents constantly being forgiven in Thai dramas. I hope that someday, media…
yeah, I remember watching J-GL and it was sooooooo refreshing to see a character cutting ties with her abusive parent and being told that it's okay to do it. 🥰
what is the drama surrounded the alleged director? People seem upset that he might be directing it. why?
as someone who likes his series, but is also critical of him, I'll try to explain. His series can be quite messy, he is good at establishing the plot, the friendships between characters are always great, I really like the humor and the romance part... BUT he is messy (and not in a good way), he spends too much time focusing on one part of the plot and then rush everything else, so (for me) it almost always drags in the middle of the series and the plot is often repetitive. Some plotlines are just dropped and forgotten. I assumed it was the editing team fault, but every project he worked on have the same issues, so it must be him. I watched every series he made and know that I will both love and be frustrated by it. 😅 I think he maybe should try to film just one series at the time (he tends to shoot multiple series at once), so he could focus on it. That being said, there are for sure people who just straight up like to hate him and act like he is the worst thai director, and he is definitely not.
Why the hell did they start geoblocking!? I live in Germany and was weirded out at first that I couldn't watch…
This is different. When IQ have GMMTV series it's normally blocked on YT in countries where it's available on IQ. for example I could watch Burnout Syndrome on yt, but it was only on IQ for other countries. Same with Cat for Cash and Gaga. But with Girl Rules there are A LOT of countries that can't (legally) watch in anywhere. They only time GMMTV series was not available in most countries, was when Japan (sqenix to be exact) made them gatekeep Cherry Magic
Oh, I'm in trouble now. I went from rolling my eyes (but still watching ✌) at new DMD series, to now being excited about them... please DMD don't break my heart
but did you guys notice that the offical trailer is not there in youtube anymore!
it's a normal thing they do when they have a cast change. The only thing that looks sus to me is that they deleted their twitter account, but it might be cause they're planning to re-introduce this series in 2027 line-up. (personally I think this series is dead, but I might be wrong, there's still no official info so maybe even they don't know what to do)
Can someone tell me the reason for them ending their partnership? Or has it not been disclosed for personal reasons?
"this decision was made with mutual understanding and respect, taking into account their individual career paths and future goals" - is the only official reason we will probably ever get (unless one of them spills), everything other than this are rumors/speculations made by people that doesn't really know anything.
That being said, there are for sure people who just straight up like to hate him and act like he is the worst thai director, and he is definitely not.
