Without seeing the trailer, I'm really not sure that it's cool to do a comedy regarding someone who has sustained…
The same director made Peaceful Property that also was a comedy but with serious tone (a lot of tragic death) and they never made fun of serious things. It was actually very well balanced. If it was directed by anyone else I might be sceptical, but I trust dir Dome with this type of drama
Honestly it's not that uncommon to air series that's still unfinished (in GMMTV o remember WandeGodday was still filming while it aired, DMD do that too they still filmed Khemjira when it aired) P10L also was still filming after they pushed it out. I think GMMTV decided to air H2H instead of anything else cause it would be hard to reschedule everyone, and they don't really care that much about quality, so who cares if it feels rushed... π€·π»ββοΈ
Oh yes, I was curious about it and checked it out. I still think that it's totally fine for him to not work with actors if he doesn't want to interact with their fanbase. And I bet he gets a lot of hate.We know there's a lot of weirdos online... THAT BEING SAID you are right, the post that triggered him was just a random person fuming and not even tagging him. He had to go out of his way to find it and comment on it instead of doing the mature thing and ignore it (or mute it if he can't handle it). I even read his long ass post and while I agree that we don't know what's happening on the set and that there is a lot of people that are just toxic and spew hate, there are also reasonable people that criticise his work and he's DEFINITELY NOT listening to their criticism. Cause it's the same shit all the time. I know exactly what will be wrong with his project before it airs. And as to why people watch his work if they don't like his style, well... for the actors - obviously. I know people were very excited about BounPrem new series but even though it apparently took 3 years to make, it still felt rushed and unfinished. filled with plot holes and loose ends. π I'm sure some blame can be put on GMMTV rushing projects, but there are directors that can make great series even under those conditions... Honestly, I say this with no hate in my heart, I hope New just take a break from directing.
don't know, I don't really follow directors or actors on SNS. π honestly I think it's totally valid if he doesn't want to work with some actors because their fandom pissed him off. I have my criticism when it comes to his work, but I would never go on twitter to harass him over it. especially since I always love first few episodes of his series and I always hope that this time I'll like it till the end
nothing really π just like Gian said, it's concerning... it looks like this series might be very rushed and unpolished. I know that it's not uncommon for dir New to air unfinished series or film a few at one time (honestly it shows), but 16Qs and filming another series on the side have to be some new record...
Though I donβt like New as a director that much, thatβs just his working style. I think he often films many…
yeah, and a ot of his series end up being messy af. I have a (one-sided ofc π ) love-hate relationship with him when I'm excited about his project, enjoying first episodes, being bored in the middle and then slightly disappointed by the end... but with this one I'm just worried it will be a disaster. the only thing that comforts me that either way Thai fans will enjoy it (they seem to like New's work), so the actors might have some boost in popularity
Okay, I get that there'a a lot of logistics behind gathering the whole crew to shoot, but I can't help to feel a bit frustrated when I see New Siwaj filming his other series when we have 10 days till 1st episode airs and there's only 13Q filmed. π€‘ (I'm also aware we don't know how many Qs this project will have in total, and that it's not uncommon to air unfinished series, but still... why it looks like no one gives a fuck?) I'm bitter
