I just finished it and it is 3 am in the morning. I loved it so much. I laughed and cried with the characters. I am absolutely in love with Wang churan now ahaha. Warning spoilers ahead ⚠️



The last scene where xiahou bo broke the 4th wall was so eerie! Such a good ending with the nod to the meta themes in the series. Also Xiahou Dan made a joke where Yu Wamyin was taking some time and he said "what? Is she going to drag it for 81 episodes" that was funny haha. I'm a sucker for meta jokes.

The deaths though T_T for a comedy c drama this had so many deaths. Yong'er and Uncle Bei. T_T. Well well. It is what it is.

Also. Does anyone else think through the subtle signs, that Uncle bei was trans or leaning? And the last scene where Er Lan tucked Wanyin's hair, that seemed a bit queer too, didn't it? Ofc, she had something with Cen Jiantin, maybe bi? I haven't read the original novel of course, but it's something I cooked up in my head haha.
