This never made sense to me. I have actors and actresses that I love and will watch all their content, but I would never go rate a different drama lower just because I prefer the cast of one over the other. This sounds like the thought process of 13 year olds bullying the kid in school that's a bit different than them. Why don't they just watch what they enjoy, rate it well, and leave the rest alone? I think I'm showing how ancient I am by saying this lol
Just want to say one thing.I love Shen Yue and Lin Yi fans. You people very passionate and I don't see hostility…
I often give currently airing dramas that are good enough to keep me watching a high rating at the start to counteract the haters giving low ratings. Maybe my single 10 will negate one of the many 1's. After I finish the drama I re-rate it to what I actually think the rating should be, with hopes that the haters have moved on to other currently airing dramas to vent their low rating anger on.
You're reaching pretty far here for the same old BS you always post on romance dramas. Did you happen to miss…
And? Your point? They've posted the same rant on EVERY currently airing romance drama for months. It's the same rhetoric over and over with no basis in facts. There are much ruder comments out there, go find those to point out.
I agree with you mostly except on the matter of the SML it is shown to us the development of their relationship…
Wrong again. The ML's BEST FRIEND is the 2FL. They've been close friends since she was a blind volunteer years ago. She is also used to develop the relationship between the ML and FL because she becomes friends with the FL also.
Try actually watching the show you're criticizing.
Typical Cdrama,ML with emotional issues & these issues always lead to him staying away from women, to keep him…
You're reaching pretty far here for the same old BS you always post on romance dramas. Did you happen to miss the parts where they talked about the MLs multiple ex girlfriends? How he was with one that looked like a model for a year and a half? how they had a dog together? That's not really a ML that stays away from women. I doubt in that span of time the ex-girlfriend would have been fine with a pure and chaste relationship. They just can't TALK about the ML getting laid due to censorship rules. You're just going to have to use your imagination about what he did with his ex for that year and a half.
Are you even watching this drama? or are you just guessing based on what you assume? Go watch crime dramas or something if romance dramas and their tropes are something that bother you this much. No one is forcing you to watch them, and no one cares about this weird crap you prattle on about.
Smile Code looks nice so far, I'll give it a go after this ends
Smile Code isn't really a "feel good" show so far. It's very dark with lots of trauma flashbacks for the ML. It may lighten up later, but I'm caught up to the currently airing episodes and it's still more melodrama than humour or feel good. The FL brings elements of humour but the subject matter of the ML's PTSD/alexithymia symptoms can get quite heavy at times. It's definitely more of a "healing" theme, so expect a lot of darkness before the light.
This could easily become drama of the year.. the potential is there... Chemistry between the leads are simply…
I don't think it's going to be a drawn out arc. The SML seems very emotionally intelligent and he can tell she likes the ML. I think it's more there to introduce the emotion of jealousy to the ML. We already saw him affected by it when the SML was touching her face and he pulled her chair away.
I adore ❤️❤️❤️this drama! It’s a rom-com with depth. Director and production team have done a fabulous…
The director used to be a cinematographer. You can tell he has a very artistic eye and all his scenes have a very unique aesthetic. I really like how he uses light in scenes to portray moods, especially in the dream sequences of the ML.
It was not meant to be a sad ending but a hopeful open ending in the drama. But I guess because they had put the…
I just finished Love Is Sweet yesterday. I love their chemistry a lot! I started Fangs Of Fortune now so I can be traumatized by the director that likes SE and OE in his dramas.
I just realized I've had "Fantastic Creatures of the Mountains and Seas" on my Kindle for years. I read it when I first got it, but then I forgot about it. Now I need to go back and have a closer look!
Just finished my very first watch of this drama. I put it off for a long time because I had the ending spoiled and I *hate* sad endings, but it was so well-loved by the community that I decided not to put it off any longer. Now that I'm sad AF I need to go find something cute and romantic with an ultra happy ending to watch. Or maybe I should watch Love Is Sweet for some more LYX & BL chemistry withdrawal.
Episode 13 really pulled me into this drama, I like both main leads and they act well but wasn't quite feeling…
I like that she just thinks "The snake venom has paralyzed his nerves" and tries to help him, and when he pushes her away she just silently goes and makes the sled for him. She knows he has no control over what's happening and is humiliated so she gives him the space he needs.
Yes - I saw that, and his movies: the post truth world and your name engraved here. theres also a snippit of him…
I haven't seen the movies myself. I've seen Rainless Love in a Godless Land and he's only in it very briefly as a guest role, but it's an important role. The drama itself is very beautiful as a commentary on what we're doing to our planet, and the OST is absolutely stunning.
If you loved Edward Chen then go watch Lesson In Love. His acting will blow you away and the fact that he's the ML with super hot chemistry with his FL is a bonus.
As someone that is been hard of hearing, these captions are ABSOLUTELY necessary. I know they should maybe create…
Oh I think they’re necessary for sure, I just wish they had the option to turn them off so I could watch the show without the closed captioning like every other streaming service out there. As someone with ADHD I find the extra words force my eyes there constantly and I miss so much more of what’s happening on the screen - and then my brain goes “was that important?” so I rewind and try to ignore the captions only for them to drag my eyes away again in a never ending cycle of “must read the words when they appear no matter what”. I wish they had an “English” setting and an “English [CC]” setting in the subtitle options. I don’t begrudge the captioning, I just wish it was an option rather than a mandatory setting.
The one thing I HATE about Disney streamed shows is that they're Closed Captioned, which I find ***ULTRA DISTRACTING*** and I loathe trying to not read every little [ominous music plays] or [indistinct whispering] instead of watching what's happening on the screen. There is no option to turn it off either, which is seriously ridiculous.
Same for me. It was headed for a very rare 10/10 until the ending. Not just gratuitously killing off the two side…
By the size of that tree in the end scene it's suggesting well over a decade has passed, if not significantly more time. Those trees do NOT grow quickly. Seems more of a sad ending for such a long time to have passed if you don't know there is an episode 40.5.
