I watched episodes 1-20 a couple years ago and put it on hold for some mysterious reason that I forgot. I decided to restart it and just got to episode 18 and now I remember exactly why I put it on hold those years ago... (Spoilers in comment)
I couldn't get through the first episode of this. I really wanted to love it, but I found it a huge struggle to enjoy at all. Maybe I'll try again later when I'm in a different frame of mind, or when I'm not coming off the romantic high that was Lovely Runner. I have major drama hangover from that show and nothing is measuring up except for The Atypical Family (for different reasons).
oh man. I could see where the mom was coming from at times, and she obviously loves her kids, but the last few episodes she’s really been pissing me off. She’s so mopey and whiny and stubborn about the FL not breaking up with her ex. I cringe when she’s in a scene now.
https://kisskh.at/713799-i-may-love-you I May Love You DEFINITELY fits. And the amount of groveling he has…
I actually really enjoyed it. There are a couple non-consensual kisses (one from FL to ML, and one from ML to FL) that bother some people, but I don't mind them so much. Overall the story wasn't too bad and kept me watching.
I May Love You DEFINITELY fits. And the amount of groveling he has to do afterwards is fantastic. She's a lot more independent and no-nonsense compared to the FL in Everyone Loves Me.
I SHOULD WATCH OR NOT (it depends on your replies so tell me)
The FL is quirky and independent, the ML is smart and ambitious. They already have a solid emotional chemistry by episode 2, so I'd suggest giving it a try. The first episode is a little more dry than the second episode since they're setting up the character personalities, but episode 2 was quite entertaining.
God. I just noticed the terrible photo on his profile. I was looking at upcoming dramas and thought to myself "who's that guy? I've never seen him before..." then I noticed it was Rowoon. His profile pic should at least look like him, not some lopsided stranger.
#E15This episode marked the real downfall of the villains. Jiwon's fate transferred to Minhwan, and he was killed…
I think I was so sad about his death because of how he was portrayed in the drama. Yes, he was a disgusting bastard with no morals or redeeming qualities, but he was also the comic relief. The comedy is a good feeling, but it's tied with resentment for all his wrong-doings, so my head and my heart can't decide what to feel. Glee because he was a bad man or sadness because he was a funny man.
Yura's henchman socking Min Hwan a punch just might be the highlight of this episode for me. AND HE LOOKED SO…
For me it was Ji Hyuk slamming him on the desk then Hulk Smashing him onto the floor. Considering Ji Hyuk's height, that's a lot of distance to build up velocity!
Good God, a kiss from the head witch must feel like sucking on a Pirelli tire. What happened to that poor girl?…
*bOToxing* most likely. The beauty standards in Korea are extremely harsh to these aging celebrities. Most resort to fillers, botox, and surgery to try to keep the aging at bay, which gives them a longer viable career. They try to stay employable as the Female Lead rather than the Female Lead's Mother/Aunt/etc.
Something everyone here seems to forget when they're complaining about the ML and SML roles... These actors DO get a say in what dramas they star in, and they CAN decline a role. If Lee Sang Yi is the SML in this drama it's because he WANTED the role. No one is holding a gun to his head demanding that he play a character he's not interested in. After all his other SML dramas, as well as his leading role with Woo Do Hwan in Bloodhounds, it's incredibly likely that he's had offers to play the ML in other dramas, but maybe those scripts didn't resonate with him and he declined them.
As for the ML, people forget about how badly they trashed Song Hye Kyo for her acting in previous dramas, then the same people couldn't sing her praises loudly enough after her performance in The Glory. The same goes for when Heath Ledger was given the role of The Joker in The Dark Knight. The initial backlash was harsh, unwarranted, and unrelenting, and bro went on to win a posthumous Oscar for his acting skills. Acting and performance capabilities rely a lot on the director and the team in charge of the drama, and rarely fall completely on the actor themselves. Kim Young Dae may not impress some people due to his previous dramas, but maybe give the guy a chance and wait until the show is airing before making that judgement call. He may surprise the haters.
I keep trying to watch this, but I am struggling to get through the first couple episodes. I'm so bored that I pause it to go do something else every 5 minutes. Does this get more engaging soon? Is the pace of this drama this consistently slow throughout the whole series? The hype is huge and the clips I've seen are cute, but I'm not feeling it so far.
Jesus the PPL for that cold medication is getting irritating. I'm 19 episodes in and I think I could turn the amount of colds they get into a drinking game and be trashed within a couple episodes. If you catch a cold that often there are serious issues with your immune system.
Why hasn't Viki completed this drama? They only have 26 episodes. What's taking them so long?
And their weird broadcast days. Watched episode 25, they didn't put any new episodes up for 3 days, then they aired episode 26 and now it says 2 days until episode 27..... I'd watch elsewhere but the subs are all machine translations which are extra terrible.
i want to watch besause malé IS my favorite ... its female spoiled or childsh ?
Her online/streamer persona is actually super confident, and the way she speaks to the ML while in this role is fantastically powerful. She even takes him down a peg. It's great.
EeEEeeEEeeeEEEeeEEe it's Marry My Husband day! My most anticipated days of the week! Knight Flower is a close second though. Such great shows broadcasting at the moment!
